Back when i was at school., a local dariy farm ran a 2640 2wd on a deutz fahr 900 trailed forager and a large arable farm ran a 2680 4wd with a 6 furrow doweswell conventional plough with press. a hugh tractor when you are a small boy.dave

there are a few batemans around here,amesbury,wiltshire.i drive a RB15 2500ltr 24m.lovely machine,down the road there is a bateman hi low,and druids lodge estates run a RB25 near stonehenge.i ve got my name down 4 one of three oaks models.hoopers at gores cross run a RB25,and contractor over near westbury run 2 RB 25s.and i think theres another RB 25 around amesbury nr the A303.dave

well i was in the usa on a arable farm.i was driving a john deere 9400 artic on duals with a krause 48ft disics and towed behind them was a brillion 48ft packer.i was beening escorted by one of the farm staff.we were moving from base to a 1500acre block of maize stubble.well the road to the farm was in the mining area so lots of big coal trucks about,well of course i met one on a narrow bit with big deep ditches on both sides. it was a tight squeeze to get buy being helped by guys on the ground .though we did connect and i ripped his arm for the over the top tarp.he didn't seem bothered and we never heard any thing about that again.

like the look of the loader,and the baler,trailers look good to. hopefully well get a loader attachment set for the jcb310s/416s.ie flat 2 big bale grab,double rbale spike,high tip grain bucket 4 416s.

i like going to spalding twice a year.have been going since 1993 i think.great for shopping for the wife, only 4hrs drive from home.never been to zwolle,don,t think you can compare the the to shows,zwolle been going 4 a long time and is easy to get to 4 mainland europe, more model farm collectors closer to the show.been to the national farm toyshow in dyersville,iowa usa a few times,massive show, must have over 2000 model sellers there.takes over the whole high school and town hall over 2 1/2 days,inside and out - 20c one november i went.hope spalding stays where it is,i would like some dioarmas.will continue to go 4 years 2 come.

i have the old atv trailer,does look same.sheds look ok.made my britains shed like that about 4yrs ago.

like the look of the case 600 quadtrac.hope the the jcb 310s has a big bale grab and some good size buckets and muck grab.the buildings sound interesting.lets hope britains do them selves pround this time.

hi every one, well we still run 2 3m dyna drives on the 680 acres of arable land on the farm i work on.we have another 700acres of arable land we help out on to.one has a crumbler roller on the back and the other a spiked tooth packer.a john deere 6820 or our john deere 7530 are on the front.we use them on stubbles 1 or 2 passes then drill with a moore unitill drill.i was dyna driving some rape stubbles a coulpe of weeks ago with the 7530 on the front.we don't use them as much as we use to as we have a 5m vaderstad carrier and a 5m kongskilde vibroflex cultivator as our main cultivation kit.that said it is a good tool and we will keep hold of them both.they are heavy to lift,speed does the job,10mph +. best day i had with a 3m is 70 acres.had to retine one 2 yrs ago and the other last year. a good 2 long days.cheers dave.

A new CASE QUADTRAC will be at the farmprogress show in the usa at the end of august, 650hp+.A mate in the usa says they have been running a few in indiana.he says you can't get near them 2 get photos.all roads to farm they are on are blocked or got security check points.

I did a 18mth agri exchange back 1998/99 in kentucky.Anyway for model dealers check out the toy farmer magazine in the back.they also do a coming shows in all of the usa for every month,that can be 4 pages or more.heres there web site www.toyfarmer.com. also walmart in rural areas have a good selection of toys and rural king have a big selection of toys too.hotels as deerest said yea hoilday inn,days inn loads of them on major routes.if you get the chance vists nashville tennesse,the grande old opre hotel biggests hotel outside of vegas 2500 rooms,trees 30ft in the indoor shopping centre, a river runs around the shopping centre too.stay in the motel opposite that hotel alot cheaper,good buses into the city.hope this helps dave

Was hoping 4 someone to do a 1/32 claas lexion 600 on tracks with a 12m header.well won't be getting that xerion or the plough. Not inpressed with that xerion or the plough just repainted. they should of done the new claas avero combine or a jag 980. that would be good.that siku sugarbeet havester looks good and the ros horsch drill.dave the farmer
