Looks very good to me Andy,
will have to have a good look when over next.
I'm sure your just trying to get your hands on all my model money
;D

that`s nice, but the frontwheels are bigger than the backwheels
Have seen a few loader tractors up here with wider front wheels, have to do something to keep them on top of the mud
woo that really is incredible
excellent work! are you going to sray the loader or what you going to do with it?
Loader staying as it is, John Deeres were mostly fitted with these loaders in my area, so a common site to me. I will be making something to go on the loader at some point though, either a bale spike or muck fork or maybee both

Thanks for the comments guys,
Got a wee bit more done to her today, still got to do some exterior detailing and all the interior!
Shall put some more pics up in a few days.

I used non genuine JD paint, made by Farmlife I think.
I hope to get some more detailing done today as its not too cold to sit out in the garage today!

i see you have a claas scorpian in the background just wondering weather its any good
I think its a brilliant model, UH for me, just keep getting better and better. I just wish they supplied the bucket and forks in the same box
, means buying another one if I want both attachments.

Very nice Andy, we must have a chat again about these trailers and where some of them are going to stay

Hi,
Not much more done yet, have decided on 2850. Have decided to use the front rims as per pics above, but with different, smaller tyres fitted to them. I hope to get her painted tomorrow at some point. Will post up some more pics once she is painted.
Thanks for the comments guys.

I sure did like these trailers
and expressed my interest in one returning to my address hopefully.
Your onto a winner there I would reckon Andy.

A great show of displays and plenty of trade stands aswell. Looking forward to the next one already. I managed to get a few things ( serious dent in the finances made), think we walked round the displays three or four times and probably still missed stuff! Sorry guys I don't have any pics, had the camera with me and even remembered to take it out of the car with me, was too engrossed with everything and forgat to take a single pic, discovered the camera in jacket pocket on the way home, DOH! Well done to all the organisers for arranging this one.

Liking this one a lot
Those rear wheels suit it brilliantly, reminds me of a 7250 which used to work on a local estate here in Aberdeenshire.
Looking forward to the finished article appearing on these pages.

Johny,
Please carry on posting updates on these.
Maybe not a common choice in UK, but I still enjoy watching your creations unfold and would like to see this when its finished

JD and loader to finish,
an artic trailer to paint and add a little more detail,
muck fork to go on UH Claas tractor loader
and lots of scrap/ cut off pieces etc that I hang onto thinking I might use that some day

Very nice Jason, I like the rear hitch drop rods, very much improves the back end.
I've done two Sean and both were rubbing, only just but they were touching. Maybe you should have used new tyres like me.......
I had to raise the rear platform on mine also

Looks well Brian, what shade of green have you used??
I just mixed up some different colour paints that I have lying around until I got somewhere close.

Looks good Will.
You could also use nail polish remover and a cotton woll bud to remove the lettering.
Cheers F-P

that wil
It sure would and I'd probably still buy a set

956XL and 1056XL were the same but they had different wheels and tyres, which is why I suggested that you badged yours as a 1056 as you used bigger wheels than my 956.
The 856XL was shorter as it was a 4 Cylinder and the 1255XL and 1455XL were bigger tractors alltogether
;)
;)
As Paul said above, bonnets were the same on 956 and 1056 but larger wheels were standard fit on the 1056. I think it looks great as a 1056

Yes Johny the cabs are called SG2.
The axle was quite easy to do, once you get rid of the original axle it leaves quite a flat area to mount a new one on.
