That is an excellent amount of money raised Mike and well I had a gut feeling this show was going to be a success.
Well done to all involved in helping Paul and Lynn ( ncluding Harold Powlton and Damian & Hazel Hampson and yourself and any others helping in the background) make this show a success.... I'm sure Chris would have been proud of you all..... and I hope the Aberdeen show next Sunday ( 7 sleeps away) does as well....
PS It was brilliant sunshine today in most of Aberdeen and the shire but we should maybe say our prayers tonight to get rain for Sunday the 6th of June to encourage more spectators to come to an inside show
Bill, you will miss the Aberdeen model show if you wait until then :
Well done on the show Paul, looks to have been a roaring success

Nice pictures Jordan, have to say I agree with Paul, I much prefer the originals to the enhanced ones though.
-
Nice paint job Gregor, I would agree with others though that the wheels need to be a different colour.
Well done, looks like you have managed to get a very nice finish there

Happy Birthday Joe

I also purchased a set of Ian's wheels for my JD and have to say I'm delighted with them. I do not have them properly fitted yet as I still have to paint them, but the fit so far is good. The rears are scuffing in one or two places when turning, but once I've trimmed off the excess rubber sticking up from the treds they will be fine. Mine also came pre drilled, but admit would be better if they came supplied with an axle to suit.
Seeing your pictures on a Fendt has got me thinking now I can see another set of these wheels coming my way

Absolutely fantastic John, so much detail. I hope I manage to see this one in the flesh someday. :)

What can i say the man has CLASS ha ha!
Think I may have went a bit cross eyed for awhile
Personally I think Brian may have suffered a bang on the head and wasn't thinking straight when he made that deal ;D
Will always be a Claas man, just need to give the others a shot sometimes

Thanks Bob, she will be the main tractor at Stuarthill, ploughing, drilling, mowing grass etc. Number one son has now left school and is looking to earn a bit extra cash doing a little bit of contracting to the neighbours . Contractor we bought her from realy looked after her.

Just trying to find my way round on the new forum, tried to list an event on the calender, but it does not appear to be saving it?

is any one else experiencing problems with eBay recently, mainly with pictures, i either get a "unavailable" logo where the item is, or it never opens, just shows the thumbnails (if theres any more than 1 picture) and nothing else?? . seems to have been doing it for me for the last week or so on and off??
I've been getting the same thing Sean, sometimes going away from that page and coming back to it occaisionaly works.

Very nice Brian,
The turbo stickers on the tractors you have pictured are the type that were supplied with TB turbo kits. We used to fit these kits to 9/1056's and some of the smaller range to, some customers didn't want the decal fitted 'just so the neighbour doesn't know' :)

[ [ , Hadn't realised just how long its been since I updated this topic [ [ .
There has been a few changes on the farm, sadly I don't have pictures of them all. The McCormicks have been sold/traded for a Claas Arion 430 with loader. There will be another tractor joing the fleet soon (contractors selling his MF 5480 ). Thought it was time to trade the two existing balers for one that will do both silage and straw.
Some pictures of the new Vicon arriving and the Farmhand and Claas leaving .
