Or the AGCO balers (Challenger, Hesston, MF and Fendt) would also be a good idea IMO
-
Wouldn't mind a Magnum as they've never been done in 1:32. Failing that, a TG, TVT or TM-A
-
...would it not have been an idea for the Ifor Williams horsebox in the equestrian gift set to be painted maroon, because as far as I can see this is the next most common colour they are after blue?
-
I was wondering cos I don't know which one to buy, will probably just get the equestrian set
-
Do these models have rear hitches?
-
Any idea when it might be appearing on your desk Bill?
-
That is absolutely s**t...
...hot! What did you use for the silage coming out of the harvester?
-
Hi Bill,
first of all let me say how grateful I am to you for taking the time to listen to us madmen/collectors, it really is muh appreciated. What I want to know is basicallly who decides which models to bring out in 1:32, do you just do anything the OEM asks or have you a lot of discretion, and for European models that would not be widely known in America, how much input into the decision does the UK office have?
-
Is britains bringing out a TG then in 1:32 then? ???
Yeah Bill Walters said on Toytalk it might be out before the end of the year
-
Isn't that the little farmer one?

Some do. My favourite TGs in 1:64 are the two in the hauling set with the fat European tyres
-
Atles body, cab and mudguards, resin cast bonnet. Available from www.cethena.com for ?100, ?55 for bonnet, cab roof, mirrors and decals to put on your own Atles. I'll probably pass on this and wait on the one from Britains

Like Q, I am an old school Britains collector. My main passion is for all things Blue, and one third of my tractor collection is either Fordson, Ford, County or New Holland.
I got two UH models as Christmas presents and since then I have gone UH crazy - 7 tractors so far, and a pair of Fendt 818s on the way. The UH Claas Quantum is just about the best 1:32 scale farm model I have ever seen. Roll on the Kuhn Mower.
In my dreams UH will bring out the NH TVT and TMA. That would just be the ultimate.
In the meantime, is it too much to ask that nobody brings out new models in 2006 so that I have some money left to spend on adding the Blue artics - Steiger FW, Versatile Designation 6s, 9880, 9882 and various TJs - to my collection??
The addition of the three ERTL Precision Tractors (and the Precision Combine), together with the Norscot Cat & Claas Challengers to the collection would also be greatly facilitated by a break in the relentless release of new models - especially new UH models.
So many models, so little time!
Not to forget the new 94 series one!

Here is one I borrowed from FarmPhoto, it's not great though

I know it's a long shot, but has anybody ever attempted to do a Ford All Purpose (AP) cab, as was optional on the 4610, 5610, 6410, 6610, 6810 and 7610? I realise it's unlikely as the cab and rear mudguards would have to be totally built from scratch, but it would be cool
-
Is it offered in the red/black/silver CIH livery aswell?
-
Does anyone know of any conversion specialists who do Claas Quadrant balers?
-
I think the MTX is Bruder, not sure, it's definitely 1:16 anyway
-
Any particular reason? This for me would be a drawback to buying it, makes it less realistic. I know it's not much hassle to get new decals but still
-
Is there any model number on this, I've only seen it referred to as a ZTX, not a ZTX280 for example
-
Having seen David's excellent Moffett, it got me thinking - what if you were to get the Valtra forestry tractor, put large wheels on the front, put the TM165 bonnet, cab and mudguards on it and then the rear loader, would you have something approaching a TV140/145?
-
Based on a UH McCormick MTX175, afaik
The best 1/32 scale implement ever.
