Thank you for the lovely comment I will not be telling her indoors about being fit as I won't hear the last of it! No I wasn't under there as well all I told her to do is find the oil leak and then she said take a picture got one from last year show under the Deutz she just like getting under my things? Anyway we are all good hope that you are all as well to.

Well not what I have done today but over the weekend which was one of them rare days off so went to palgrave rural event good lot of tractors and ford and Fordson club was also there with a fantastic display from Fordson n to tw25. Mrs R was honoured by driving my Deutz intrac while I dusted off and polished the old Steiger.

The 4455 is not a rebadged 4755 it is a new bonnet and front end casting which has been measured off a real JD 4455 and I have researched that apart from exhaust and air cleaner placement all the bonnets up to the larger JD 4650,4850,4755,4955 etc are the same size (4440,4055,etc) JD in the states has a very good on line workshop manuals dating back many years plus I have also talked with Nick young to confirm this. I Loved these old SG2 cabbed tractors as used to work along side them as the ploughing contractors used 4240s,4440 hyd front wheel drive 4455 and then the larger 4755. -
