  2. thanks ive plans for adding stuff to these kinda started a while back but one thing led to another so its very much an ongoing project
  3. :D dont worry ive spent a good bit of time driving nhs before, thats why im suitably qualified to rank them a close second behind massey ferguson
  4. letter came in the post today telling me to get a dog licence........ in big bold writing on top was final notice and down the page a bit in bold underlined writing it said detach payment slip in ANY POST OFFICE, so i went along to the nearest one to me where i was informed " O im sorry we dont do that" its not so much the fact they dont do it that annoys me its more the fact that everything in this country is made as difficult as possible by public bodies and even do they tell you do one thing when you go out of your way to do it ur informed it must be done a different way.............. and what really really annoyed me was the fact i went all the way into town then to pay it and almost got a parking ticket when i was parked outside the post office for a whole 5mins, where do they expect me to park the nearest car park was half a mile away and it was pouring
  5. made this the other evening (the spreader), its pretty basic i know but its my first proper conversion attempt so am happy with it \
  6. parked up cos of the bad weather is this lot
  7. trust me give a day in one of these dumpers travelling around the same site all da long and a zetor crystal 12145 with no breaks or steering would beat the dumper its a sickening yoke, my hilight today was it was quite before lunch so i got a chance to have a walk around for a while and have a chat with some of the lads before we rushed off to go drawing rock that was broken out from a rockbreaker only for the machine driver to break a sensor in my dumper by throwing in the rock too hard resulting in a very loud high pitched beeping any time i went tipping, eventually i managed to temperiarly fix it with a coin and a bit of tape for a while at least. what really put the icing on the cake was some of the gang was at pit silage today and i had to miss it and ye thought ye had problems
  8. thanks, its ok for a change but not near as fun or interesting as the agri side, the only reason im here is the regular driver of one of the dumpers refused to travel to this place to work as it means getting up every mornin gat 5.15 for a hour and three quarter drive to limerick and a 2 hour drive home in the evening............ so after a bit of persuasion i got landed with it and had to leave my 6810 for a while
  9. theres about 5 weeks digging on this job with most of it being done by the cat 330d and theres a cat 324d digging out a boggy patch at the farm side of the site, theres also a komatsu pc 340 loading topsoil and the boggy stuff into lorries. theres also 4 dumpers all a25d's drawing from the 330 and we are filling back in the hole that the 324 is digging better better earth while a dozer and two rollers compact the soil so it will be ready for taking piles
  10. ya theres 4 a25d's drawing from that 330, ive more pics but there not loading up so ill try again later
  11. heres some more pictures from work this time showing some of the plant side of things, unfortuntaly is hard to get good pictures on some of these jobs as we cant really just stop up the machines to go taing pictures both for the fact of schedules, downtime and of course health and safety so these were just taken from the cab
  12. aw damn it i had a big accessorie order planed from him in the near future for that very stuff as well as for my fords
  13. a few years on and things have changed a bit! the contractors operation has now grown to approx 4300 acres of silage and 600 acres of maize. the 16ft lee trailers have been replaced by 20ft mastersons again with flotation tyres. these pictures were from 2004 mf 6290 just finished mowing carting tractors again 6290s waiting for harvester to arrive
  14. i have to say marky i agree with him, it is one ugly yoke \ but if it makes you feel better so is the masterson........... im sure if you bring it back to where you got it they will exchange it for a better looking one
  15. haha thats part of the rules im afraid FNHIR na id say it ok to do it, i may have to retake a couple of mine as the quality of picture came out bad in one or two, just depends if i have enuf time to do it
