  1. i saw a britains MF200 on ebay the other day, ah here it is http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Obsolete-Britains-Massey-Ferguson-MF200-Silage-Trailer_W0QQitemZ220537231415QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ToysGames_DiecastVehicles_DiecastVehicles_JN?hash=item33590b1837 I have a few years before i'm out of uni, so prices will have changed i would imagine by the time i'm looking to buy.... Keep taking your camera to work.... Alex
  2. that is brilliant so far! can't wait to see the finished article alex
  3. thankyou very much yeh i don't really get much enjoyment out of seeing something sat in a display cabinet... making the diorama more realistic is what i'll be doing next.... I have no clue what you just said, but keep replying.... i think marky is your man for that one don't worry i won't making the new yard more realistic is what i'm aiming at, don't think there's that much small machinery left that i want to buy... If i see one in a hedge bottom somewhere i'll drag it back to the yard and you can restore it... Keep the replies coming, I'm back at Uni now so don't expect much in the way of updates for a couple of weeks, but i will still be checking in on here.... Alex
  4. 362 with a yardscraper springs to mind! I'd just like to have one really that one!!!
  5. thanks for the reply MJB1, Do you mean that Marky is lying to me? well he has asked me to buy him a 135 already haha! I'm glad you agree with Tris, I could do with a few more job offers however haha! The 362 is being run in with some hard work, after uni i hope to buy the real deal! The 595 just had an engine replacement after the previous owner didnt keep the head bolts torqued down, still ive put marky on that one so it shouldnt be too much bother!! I'd not thought about getting another tractor, as i'm moving to a new yard soon, lovely big tractor sheds with room for all my kit! keep the replies coming, and the suggestions! thankyou for reading... Alex
  6. thanks for the reply andrew, glad you like the kit i dont really like the ertl3050 model however....
  7. amazing topic, just read it start to finish! I'd love to rescue one of those 362s or 590s..... maybe in a few years, keep the pics coming alex
  8. good quality kit and high quality staff are 2 things that iveshead view contractors LTD prides itself on! as for the 135, well! the boss has higher priority things on his list at the moment! but Marky may spent his generous wages on what he wishes....
  9. no, but he seems to know a lot about massey fergusons......
  10. well, look what arrived at iveshead view this morning! MF595, 88bhp should be enough to drag the forager around! Here's the 595 next to the 362 within minutes it had a front loader fitted and off it went clearing up the remaining snow.... another side by side shot turns out some bright spark positioned the headlights so when the loader is attatched you can't use them! oh dear! here it is loading the trailer with manure, with a linkbox full of bricks on the back, to stop it toppling over Oh yeh, I hired a bloke called Marky to drive the 595, but he was complaining so much about needing to keep the head bolts torqued down, that I put him on the 362. Now he says he wants it made 2wd, so I've had to put an order in at Johny MF's dealership \ ;D Alex
  11. Hi David, I'm glad you like my contractor's fleet. the 362 was an impulse buy! I don't regret it at all, it has a certain charm..... i'm back to uni on sunday, so updates will appear whenever i'm home for the weekend, i'll still be on the forum however! Alex
  12. thanks for the reply! if the ****** post man would turn up i'd have an MF595 to pull the forager, and that i can fit my Britains front loader to too! I also have a new tractor shed coming, more space for my implements! pictures when/if things arrive alex
  13. i think its unfair that i don't have a two tone oblong Marky beat me to it! why not just set up a limited company? My 21 year old cousin did it, so i'm sure you can! oh and my dad and uncle changed their business to LTD too... Marky do you ask Mandy to marry you everyday?
  14. awesome! theres an Mog near me with a 5th wheel, that pulls a flat bed trailer alex
  15. the small hand implements are definitely a possibility, but i need to work on the bigger things first, like i want to build a new yard with proper sheds for the equipment. I was looking at the Britains 40973 - Farm Building Set, that on a concrete effect base with a fence round the outside.... then a couple of fields..... Well if there's definitely room for my small business on this forum, throw some work my way somebody, just bought a new tractor, and want a new yard! No job too small thanks for the replies, keep the suggestions coming Alex
  16. thankyou very much for the replies. I'm only just starting out here, so I hope that I can provide a more convincing contractors yard display over time!
