  1. a stunning collection of deere`s its good to see them all together
  2. the problem with using a tractor for this type of job is well one as said the legal speed for any tractor is 30kph no matter what speed it is capable of, and the biggy which they are starting to pick up on is if the tractor is on free road tax (agriculture use) and on red diesel it can only operate within a 15 mile radius of the farm recorded to, if you want to use it on greater distances white diesel and duty paid tax i know a local farmer who has had to buy a couple of lorries to do the job he used to use a couple of tractors to do
  3. and i bet there wasnt a mark on the parcel when you picked it up from the post office, if you are going to make a claim royal mail will want the damaged model and the damaged packaging for their investigation and when you try to explainthat you have had it repaired you get told you havent a leg to stand on, previous experience with an insured conversion via royal mail
  4. bill the moira show is one of the best shows that ive seen in the uk to date if you are interested in seeing converted models and diarama`s and construction displays as well, id be interested in helping out with this i would be going over for this show anyway and to arrange a couple of cars on the ferry and some accomadation wouldnt be a problem belfast city centre is only 20 mins from the show lisburn 5 mins so there would be a few options available, its well worth a visit
  5. andy if you and brian are needing a taxi on the sunday morning me and my dad are staying at southwaite on the sat night so im sure i could squeeze you in for a lift down to penrith on the sunday morning

  8. joe i have seen your work in the flesh, it wont go pear shaped, for the reason you keep making the alterations untill you get it right and cant wait to see what the final conversion is. all the best and will be watching this space closely

  17. bill we cant thank you enough for taking the time to organaise last nights visit to the stewart`s trailer factory , jim and mandy were amazing with the detail of the visit and answering any questions asked by the forum members / guests, it was good seeing what happens behind the scenes in the build from the drawings to the finished product rather than visiting shows and just seeing rows of finished product. it was good that we managed to get a full house for the tour and that everyone arrived on time for the tour , many thanks bill for arranging the tour and for your hospitality before the event and viewing your collection absolutly excellent bill
