I really really do like that, Sam. Very nice...... the baling contractor I work for has one that I use and I never even thought of this!

Thanks Tris! Was surprised that it turned out as well as it did. I saw one working in a paddock a while ago and thought I'd have ago. :)

Cheers Ol, looking forward to another go on your rake.

Really good work there sam the paint and decals are great :)

This was the first model that I've done with the new airbrush, I was very pleased with the good job it did. Fist time I've used the print your own decals too.

    It certainly does I reckon.

I'm pretty sure that it is the siku one. Is exactly the same as the one that was in one of the photos they sent out a few weeks ago and the plastic porta-cabin in the background is another of their releases.

  4. I'm not sure we will see the end of scratchbuilders at all, just because a big manufacturer makes the same model doesn't mean there is no place for scratchbuilders. Think about the thousands of models made in the last 40-50 years and yet scratchbuilders still offer great alternatives. Britains built the County 1884 and yet many, most notably DBP, have built further examples many years after.

Keep the faith, there will always be room for sure I'm sure so long as they are priced well and are good quality.

Very good point there, and I certainly agree. Out of all of the machines on our farm, only 2 or 3 of them have been made by a model manufacture yet, so there is still certainly a need for scratch builders.
