Lets be fair here Siku surprised us all with their announcements for 2011 with really good new models like CASE Magnum340 (No one expected that)  NH T8.390, MF combine and next week two new JD8R/RT models which I am very much looking forward to

In previous years I have been one of their biggest critics but not this year.

What I expect is another move into ERTLs domain with a JD7R  tractor and why not a CASE Puma as well seeing as Britains is too plasticky and UHs 230 is clearly WRONG!

And I suspect we may see a Fendt to, perhaps one of the soon to be released smaller 700s (718?)  and who knows maybe a Fendt Katanna 65 forager   we know someones going to make one so why not Siku!!

As for implements I dont care as neither Siku or Britains are accurate enough and there are so many companies now producing superior implements to go behind their tractors

Very true some of what you've pointed out. Am liking the JD R series models. I agree with your point about the implements not being as detailed although for carpet farmers etc. other brands are either a bit out of their price range or not strong enough.

Hopefully some more 1/32 implements and tractors. Too much 1/50 stuff last year I reckon, was a bit disappointed last year, although they did do the 2 harvesters and a few tractors in 1/32.

I like to do it this way as it's good to share how to do some things, and sometimes someone will put you right, or in the right direction if your doing something wrong!!

Another great topic by you Barry. Thats a good collection of 8400! My Dad has got one and really likes it. Nice to see you conversion of the 8400, was surprised to see how good it looked converted.

the snap on sets are the 1/18 ones. They don't look too out of scale I reckon? 

This is more like it! Detailed descriptions on how you made certain parts, I will use some of these tips when I start building my dio hopefully this winter. Where did you get all the accessories, like the Snap-On stuff and all that is on those shelves?

One problem - no shows down here in NZ.... would be my ultimate dream to go to a show over the other side of the world one day though!
