  1. Thank you very much for your comment! I'm glad people are enjoying the topic.
  2. Thanks Mandy, I'm really pleased with how they look too! My favourite parts of the shed in fact
  3. Yes am really pleased with how it looks. Sorry about the pictures, only just realised there was a rule about that! A great idea though because I certainly remember the days of waiting half a day for a few pictures to download!!! Would you like me to delete a few of the images?
  4. Haha too true Lightland. Only really built it to make a use for the trailer. Was wondering why I was building it at the time in fact considering they are already 3m! ;)Only really built it to make a use for the trailer. Suppose it does mean you can tow the headers behind other vehicles though.
  5. Will attack the roof or maybe a roller door next. Any tips with these?
  6. Hi, just a quick covo. Got a plastic toy boat trailer from the local market for the equivalent of ?0.50 (Sorry, forgot to take pictures of the original model ). Took the 'boat holding frame' frame off the trailer. Painted some lights on, painted the pulling machine at the front silver, added some chain and stuck a piece of square plastruct with 'zig-zacriticiseg plating' effect on top. Stuck an oversize sign to the header with blu-tack. Headers fit on perfectly. Hope you enjoy, feel free to comment and criticise
  7. Looks really great! Do you have any more pics of your JD shop?
  8. Thanks for the suggestion Tris! I see what you mean. Wouldn't have thought of that myself. The wood beams are more there for decoration on this shed (just to make the shed look more realistic). I thought I would just stick the cladding onto the I beams, but do you think that this will be enough to hold the cladding on? Cheers Sam
  9. It is a very thin flexible plastic, very similar thickness to cardboard and has lines embossed on it. Works very well!
  10. Here are the pictures. Used 3mm x 6mm beams and glued them between the beams. Door now in place too.
  11. Thanks everyone. Thats really encouraging! A few more updates to come tomorrow...
  12. Back to school so haven't had much time lately. :'( A few updates though: Used Mandy's brick wall effect. Cut to size, backed to 4.5mm MDF wood, spray painted grey, slotted and glued between the beams.
  13. Thanks guys, was looking at getting one but didn't want it to destroy my plastic models!!!
  14. Are the dremmels suitable for sanding plastic?

  17. Thanks! You must be very paitient and skilled to make all these models!
  18. That's a great model you've made! What did you use for the front yellow wheels of the tractor?
  19. Thanks, that's really encouraging. Hope to het more pics up when I get home from holiday.
