hi jordantaylor i only paint up siku ,but i am on with some other siku tractor models like 7430 ,lorry  tipper trailer and dolly in balfour beauty blue for my mate and i always keep one for my self ,i will post the paint and build ,

I know I have raised this point before but do you need a licence to produce those and use the Balfour Beatty name?

I knwo that farmmodels.co.uk did some mccormicks but they were official models....

Maybe worth checking..... 

i am not so sure about the whole balfour beatty use of there names on models /toys or were or who i would ask permission to do this ? but these were made for me and my mates own collections ,but if you would like one i can supply the tractor in blue and give you some stickers  to do what you want to do with or see fit ,

joe the white one in the background have been made for a special order with jd dealer with there names on ,because that is mainly what i do. if you want five siku tractors jd ,fendt ,mf ,ect with your name or company on i can sort it ,colour of tractor ect

it looks better in the flesh ,and if you go to spalding show you will get a chance to see it plus all that i do ,anyway i have plans for that new siku massey ferguson next on my hit list  ;)

I'm not to sure about the tires. maybe you guys can help me out. The small ore the big Siku Ropa tires ?

looking at your pictures i would say the small ones look more in proportion to the rest of the build and gives it the look of wheel clearance for the wheels ,however the big ones make it look more beefy but its  bit to much for me ,just my opinion, ;)

well i thought i might as well do a van ,just for the crack  :laugh:still some bits to do to the van beacons ,blue stripes ect

i went for grey/brown wheel arch extensions ,same as the chassis in the end  :laugh:

if you type in fendt 820 black beauty in to a well known video site that starts with (you),you will get a shock ,when you see them in action .

yes sorry that's what i mean arch extensions ,i have now seen 10 pictures of the 820 black beauty ,some look satin black as you say but then some look satin / mat, brown grey ,same with the grills and vents ,some are black mat ,show stand models tend to be silver ,?

i was a bit confused to weather i was to replicate the tractor or the whole fleet , ;)

i am thinking silver vents and grill ,mat brown/grey rear arches to match the chassis,twin beacons  ???

thanks for the picture mike ,really helps ,i am sorted with the CESAR sticker ,just need to get them made ,i thought the Balfour beatty sticker would have been a bit more  "pa daz"  than that it looks naff ,but i will  make my own take on that .

would love to get a good picture (square on )or at a  loacal depot of the JD Balfour beatty like what JD collector said .

i am going to do some 6920 with out loaders and 6030 with black  loaders .beacons are to be added and some better front weights ,but they are going well ;) i am not sure where to put the Balfour Beatty stickers ??

the picture on the link is spot on i can get the right things in the right places,i see the jd model stickers are on the loader arms and the bonnets ,

the project is going well ,just finished painting ,wheel hubs / chassis / cab /front weights and rear hitch .i am going to do 3 with front loaders and 3 without,colour match is bang on  ,,i will post some pictures tomorrow of them dummy-ed up ,they look mad with the blue wheels ,my wife says i should do some pink ones for the female tractor lovers ,i am not so convinced . ???

If you want then to be totally accurate then you will need to put some CESAR stickers on them as well

i never knew that there are  datatag for tractors ,but "hey ho" you learn some thing new every day,i might be able to get some CESAR stickers made ,will have to see  if they will print that small ,i can do mph and number plates on vinyl so should be ok ,Balfour Beatty how ever will be no problem, i will up load a picture at the weekend on progress.
