Great selection there Richard, are the two new purchases in amongst them??
They are indeed, thanks
The NH on floats finishes the set of 6 Britains tractors with flotation tyres which makes me happy.
Cheers mate.

Looking smart mate!

what a collection maybe someday i will have a collection like that
:)
:)
I have been collecting for about 13 years now. Unfortunatley my early Britains models are without boxes as i wasn't interested in them and didn't know better and disposed of them
:'(.

Very nice collectio there Richo
Whats the blue model on the far right on the TW shelf
That model is the New Ray Ford tractor. It came with a horrid muck grab so i replaced it with a bale spike.
Have kept the muck grab so it can be refitted if they happen to go up in value!

What a cracking collection! What scale is the scaledown TM then?
Glad you all like the collection.
My criteria for collecting tractors is they are all 1/32 scale and all have cabs.
Most importantly i will only buy models that i will like looking at!!
The TM 155 is 1/32 scale.

did that take of the super glue stains ? or just normal glue marks,
I found that there was a white clouding from the super glue as it dried which cleand up well.
Any glue would not come off though.

nice job and full to. so number 4 is on its way
I had a bit of a move round and devided to fill the new one and leve some space, though not very much, in the other two.
-
nice job there.
ain't it easier to go to ikea?
I wanted the cabinet to be a certain size to fit where it is and also to sort of match the other two tractor cabinets.

Looks good to me.Ive also got a cab to glaze is it easy
very nice mate, looks so much better for glazing the cab to, was that easy enough to do
The cab is fairly simple to glaze just fiddly!
I made some paper templates of the window shapes first
The gluing was time consuming and annoying, several pieces had to be redone.
It is amazing what a cotton bud and surgical spirit can do to clean up the plastic.

looks very nice!!, as Marcus said, will you change the linkage?
I personally think the UH linkage looks more realistic and i'm not bothered about attatching implements to this tractor so think i will leave it as it is.

Finished this a little while ago but only just got round to taking pictures. of it.
Base model was the recent Ertl JD 3140.
Wheels and front axle came from a UH Deutz
Features are...
Fully glazed cab
Mirrors and lights
PTO shaft and guard
Drive shaft to front wheels.
Mudguards cut short and bent to match real tractor.
Think it has turned out ok, let me know what you all think

Not so much saw as heard
Was in Homebase earlier when i heard the following announcement...
Would a member of staff please go to the blind aisle
Didn't realise they sold guide dogs and white sticks
:D

Just finished fitting a new thermostat for the central heating, and it seems to be working.... AMAZING
Took me a while to work out what wire was what and where it went as the old terminal markings were nothing like the new ones.
Of course the new one would have to be a different size so i now have to tidy up the wall etc.

Just finished with a set of drain rods
What a way to spend a sunday evening!
