I see the price has now gone up for the machine. New website too.

UH are lightweight zinc alloy I believe.
Resin I would think is the best option, but for fairly complex parts, Brass should probably be considered to give more strength and support. Especially for areas which will be under constant loading.

You could speak to David Purdue (SOLOSHEP1). He does 1/32 spares, but not sure if he would do 1/16..worth a try though

Did you have trouble uploading an image in this topic?

A reasonable price for a very rare model!

There is an update to apply to the forum Mark which will be done either tonight or tomorrow. I guess as new phone/device software comes out, they interpret websites differently than previous versions might, so I guess its a case of the forum software adapting to be compatibile with the ipad.

I bought an item from a certain auction house (not vectis), nothing too expensive and I guess measures only 4cm x 6cm x 3 cm in the box. I have recieved an email this morning saying the auction house wants to charge me £90.00 for postage and packing, £10 less than the item cost!
Apparently it "includes cardboard case packing, insurance and delivery by courier to kerbside but this price excludes unpacking and storage charges."
Sound's like a good deal don't you think!

I think its interesting that they are going head to head again with Britains & Ertl. There has been quite a lot of talk about UH, ROS and others moving into the CNH realms of models. Not that it matters much as we are talking about different markets - toy vs collector's items. The fact that now Siku are going to be producing CNH models that Britains will be producing is quite a development though. The fact they are going to be producing their JD models in non RC form, to also clash with Britains is even more unusual....! If I was paying huge sums in licensing fees to these companies, I certainly would not be pleased!

Nice pictures Mark thanks for posting them up. Will certainly be interested to watch the ebay prices of these.

That's a shame, although it does seemed to be emphasised more due to the BFA style. Otherwise, I do like that and think they have given it a great finish. I wonder if we will see any of the current Massey Range in BFA format in the near future?

Steady sales Bill but the majority are railway folk there.
The couple took a mag as they had a friend back up in Aberdeen who is a serious model tractor collector. I didnt catch his name though.

Been to Spalding Toy Fair today with a stand.
Very very quiet considering its just before Christmas but the weather I guess is putting people off. Roads were treacherous this morning.
Got talking to a nice couple next to me, originally from Aberdeen so that passed the time nicely!

It's a good job we went this weekend really. The EDL are in town next Saturday for a protest.

Being dragged shopping all day today! It was mayhem in Peterborough. I'm sure parents with the buggys purposely try and tally up how many shins and Achilles they can knacker!
-
Just a note to say that Spalding Toy Fair is on tomorrow.

Resolved. Sonny must have had an image uploading problem. Ive seen it before on the forum. I will report it and hopefully in the next update, it will be resolved.
-
If you can link me the topic, I will have a look at it for you.

Now that is interesting Erik. I bet Bill W is not best pleased that is on there!

Very nice. I am looking to upgrade to something bigger this year. What's the space like for box storage capacity?
