  1. Thanks for the greetings & warning Gavin.I'm aware that a lot of things I'd like are classed as vintage, but I have to confess been overdoing things on the OO gauge model railway front of recent(another hobby).Been back into this aspect of models(1/32 Farm items) less than one week & bought two tractors(a MF7490 & New HollandT6070) for £30. I really only hanker after a Massey Combine 760,a MF200 trailer & either an Alfa Laval or Bauer slurry tanker, all roughly from the 1980s era.A horsebox from that period would be useful too to go with my spare Land Rover. From there,I'm hoping to find a few places that do replacement items like stickers & also anywhere(outlet-wise) that produces farm buildings or materials for DIY buildings.Very lucky in one sense that there's so much stuff stored at my Father's,I only need 4 or 5 odd items. BTW-Don't know if this is okay to mention, but I'm in North Norfolk, around the Holt area,so I can enjoy both Railways as well as seeing Farms/machinery on the land.I meet a NH T6080 on a regular basis whilst driving a school bus.
  2. Great stuff-Anybody know how I can go about finding a 1/32 scale Britains one of my own?
  3. Can't remember if mine's a 2680 or 3690 as it's up in a cupboard at my father's place.I do know one thing & that is the cab frame is definately silver/grey & not the white.

  5. I'm very new to all of this so please bear with me. I was wondering what realistic price should I be paying for a 1/32 Britains Massey Ferguson 760 Combine Harvester(9570)? I gather that some were a bit "front heavy" until Britains added some weight to the back end inside.I'd be happy with a used/unboxed but not severely playworn/scratched version. It's one of only four or five items I never got around to buying for my set,but I've seen it sell for about £18 so far.
  6. Lovely pictures there Michael & great to see a little old MF595 among your Fergies. Just aquired a new 7480 via Ebay today & earlier this week I got a T6070 New Holland from another seller.Total cost was £30 the pair, but I don't want to find myself addicted to buying tractors again after 26 years I like the John Deeres though & may be tempted into getting just one for the sake of it-JD's weren't around in 1/32 scale when i was collecting Britains things during the 1980s era,so any excuse eh? Once I get all my things over from Dad's place,I'll photograph & post a thread
  7. Hello-Just wanted to thank firstly the admin for getting me validated here. Secondly, greeting to you all from myself. My name's Andrew Phillips, but the nickname's been Phipps for some time now(in fact, since the numbers in my age were the other way 'round when I was 14!). It was about then that I loosened my interest in Britains Farm models & I stopped buying things at about 15-16 years of age.Mainly started other interests(the natural progression most of us make at that age into going out, dating etc). Anyway,at the ripe age of 41 now,I've just discovered a cupboard at my dad's place chocca-full of unboxed Britains farm items which are going to be cleaned, checked, repaired(if needed, but most of it seems intact) & I maye have a few spare items I would happily swap in the future.I must point out that it is an interest I have & I am NOT a professional trader in any way. Just keen on filling a few gaps within my set,so if anyone can help,I would be grateful. Thanks Andrew
