Must be scarce as I've never seen or heard of one :D :D
  12. :'( :'( :'( 3 of the 4 work the other one needs a new gearbox or we'll break it for parts when I blow the others up :D NUMPTY
  13. Too right SPN, they aren't a bad mower even if they are a little old. They also breed like bunnys too, we've got 4 of them now :
  14. Just after we had finsihed mowing 5 acre of grass for haylage. All went smoothly, only tried the autoswather on a few the headlands though, using that will take some getting used too :D
  15. Pic 1 of the rather Hi-tec controls Pic 2 Another front view in work position
  16. Some pics of it's booty, conditioner tines and autoswather
  17. Here's some pics of the newly purchased Taarup 307 mower with autoswather. We only really bought it for the gearbox as I blew the other one up on our other Taarup mower, but the 307 is such a sound mower (at the moment \) that were going to run this instead and keep hunting for another gearbox :. Greasing and oiling everything up before we set off to work. The paint work really does need quick buff up with some oil, talk about drib, drab : :D

I get quite alot of work for haylage and hay so no silage work isn't all that bad. I've given up explaining the benefits of tedding out silage to farmers they just don't want to know let alone pay a wee ?4 an acre for it. There loss, not mine :D :
  19. Stop buttering him up, you'll never get a beetroot harvester, ever ;D

I put it down to farmers being too tight and stuck in there ways texas. I run a Kuhn 7601 tedder and trying to get work in front of a chopper is impossible. Farmers think a tedder is for drying grass and thats that, but a tedder also breaks up the waxy layers of the grass, releasing the sugars and in turn making better feed, try telling them that though. Most farmers think a mower conditioner is good enough to do a tedders job, little do they know :o \
  21. Indeed Ol, been very sunny and warm. Your right they suck the slurry in through that pipe, theres also one on the side of the tank near the drawbar too
  22. The rim cracking on my Massey, nothing a bit of weld won't sort, at least for now \ \ \
