Isn't it just, although I think we should have a special topic for our MF pics. I don't like dumping them in here along with the rif raf like them Fords and Deere's \ \ \ \
Poor thing had to bale all sorts of sh!te today. The ground is a only a mile if that out of Derby city centre so it's rough to say the least with bit's of old cars, shopping trollies and even 2 cash register drawers lurking in the headlands and in the swaths >
Was out baling haylage with the Welger RP and MF today. I took quite a few pics but they've turned out worse than the usual ones, probably cause it was persisting it down and I was in a hurry. Will add to these at a later date though ;)
Been rather overcast all day here and p!ssed it down from 3 till 5 this afternoon, just as I was round baling and trying to free the tractor from a rather big spring \ \ \ ;D
Question 1
The drum rotates in a clockwise direction turning the round bale against the rotor (pic) which breaks up the straw, feeds it through the chopping knives and the blows it through the chute basically. Much like a flywheel forage harvester.
Q2
The drum is stationary and does not slide out, the yellow drum is the standard teagle drum, the red one is what we have fitted for hesston and 2 round bales. You have to half cut the net wrap before loading the bale into the drum, then precisely load half the bale into the drum before cutting of the other half of the netwrap
Q3
Never you mind
Been hot and very humid these last 2 days, had a few big storms this afternoon, thunder, lightning, hail, heavy rain the works, which has made it a bit fresher, not much though. Only problem was I should of been round baling today >
