Nice and sunny here with some lovely fluffy white clouds, could be hay making time if there was enough grass to get a couple of bales :D :D \ \

It's excellent soil compared to what I've been in, heavy-ish loam with some large clay patches chucked in for good measure, probably was in one when I took the pics hence the high revs : ;D She is a very high revving tractor though Phill. 2100 engine revs chucks out about 540 rpm at the PTO, is that right?? Seems rather loud compared to the maxxum, 956XL etc ???

Yeah it was ebay, they were fetching ?15ish with the rubber tyres. But with me being tight I went for the ?7.00 one on steels and hnaged the tyres myself. Dadstractors was his ebay name and he did have a website too, weather he still sells them though I don't know \ \

There nice too, working screw jack, little tap at the back and a proper fuel hose, nozzle etc. Very good for ?7.00 ;)

Fuel bowser

Knocked up these a few days ago, to go with NCC's silage team :D ;D The claas bowser I made out of a little Gama crop sprayer, took the booms off, bit of Humbrol Claas paint and George is Bobs uncle : :D The green fuel bowser was made by dadstractors and was mounted on steel wheels, so I whipped them off and put some Siku Fella wheels on instead. Looks 10 times better and it's alot nicer to pull on the road :D

Don't you find filling hay nets with a wheel barrow tricky, or is it just me ???

1st pic of the dash, L-R: Fuel gage, digital PTO rev counter, big middle gage is the rev counter, right gage is the temperature of the engine and below that is the digital speedo reading 8.8kph ;) 2nd pic just before I set off for home at 8.30ish tonight :)

Been at it again today, this time in some proper soil with no stones whatsoever ;D Did all 8 acres in 6 hours, which is very good as this field is about as mis-shaped as they come, 13 headlands if you count them all :o Managed to get a good 10k in places, 7k was about the average speed though. She sounded sweet when we hit the odd patch of clay too. Had to have the door open some of the time just to listen to it :D It beats the whine of the big hydraulic pump, when the back window is open :
