gps system for the tractor.......not the trimble but says its equivalent ......time will tell once it arrives
-
but of course you have a stack of round bales out the back to keep you going til the grass starts growing ..................very nice update
-
little doubt here that these are top drawer as we have come to expect from you
nice to see something a little different and so accurately portrayed
keep sharing !
-
well as you know I havent been adding many at all but due to this coming , I have bought one or 2 since christmas, pics when they arrive.......
Like tris however with me its not that big an issue really but yes it`s probably another reason not to buy too many more.
I can see the cost of living rising significantly and money is gonna get very tight for us all what with this fuel increase ....that will affect the price of everything that`s moved about .....heating oil too is now over 70p a litre in our area .........smells of profiteering rather than paraffin now I think.
-
nice updates peter , youhave some great kit about you
-
am I still seeing double after new year celebrations or is that 2 you are building Thomas ?
-
Jez old boy , you may just have decided me on my next phone if and when mine packs in
-
im not into flash phones either , mines needs to be tough damp proof and dust proof and currently mines a samsung solid over 2 yrs old and probably nearing the end of its life too .I have no idea what I`ll do then because I doubt these new ones wouldn`t last me a week. I have dodgy signal in here so no real use for web browsing and I dont need that , nor do I want a flash camera..................not much point in me posting in here was there, sorry tris

today was a 3 am bedtime ,up at 8, wee lie in. got all the cattle and sheep fed by 12. the landlord had organised a fox hunt so the hounds were all over the place by then ,Alison wanted to see them hunting and just as we went out the door they ran right down the glen and over towards the wood, in full voice and right after a fox which nearly ran into the sheds..........
they just track the fox with the hounds and any fox traced running in front of any of the guns will be shot....they didnt get any but tracked 3 . 21 riders on horseback with them who all seemed to enjoy their day.
Been down to see dad tonight, he refused to come up last night to ours, we just had a couple of friends in.thats the celebrations nearly over for another year

the 390`s round here in my area , almost all of them, needed a small spring in the centre of the gearbox ,very cheap spring something like a quid or so but a big repair bill as it was a double split to get into the gearbox to replace it...might be that could even be a worn selector as I had on the 590 , I actually broke it eventually
my 390 was I think near 8000 hours before it needed the spring fixed

true true, unless you have dodgy weather?? then everyone wants the big 6 at the same time.......go south and east young man and buy something ie NH MF Claas whichever has a dealer close to you. provided of course it fits through your gates and along your roadways. in 1/32 land the choice is entirely yours , all available online readily ;D so a nearby dealer isnt a problem , it just depends how realistic you want to be
so just you chose your fave colour and you`ll be fine

I had a chuckle when I read John's comment on land but how very true. I still kick myself not buying a croft house and steading and 16 acres in Drumoak 23 / 24 years ago for £59,000 but then it could have went more since it was a public auction. I walk or drive past it most weeks and think what if but you can't turn the clock back. Nowadays if i want something I tend just to go for it.
Been a couple of opportunities for me to own land, both i`ve sadly missed, I have to say the way things have gone I have regretted both but............. both for one reason or another, were just too much for me to cope with at the time.

good looking trailer Mark, nice and flexible but I note your dilemmas after reading through......sure it`s fine thought.health to use and enjoy it and all the rest of your MANY shiny new red things !
this shiny paint syndrome , perhaps I suffer from something similar given all that i`ve bought this year..mines more dull paint and rust based though .....
.....seriously though this is one thing folks forget about agriculture..and you are now included in this Mark, that when we have money, we bloody spend it . probably due to the fact that we also know that time will come when we can`t afford to spend it or we can`t spend what we dont have so to this end as you point out, I reckon you have done the right thing here and buying this quality kit probable means it will last you for years. you only need to buy more land now, ;D remember metal rusts and they arent making any more land plus it keeps getting put below tar, concrete and houses so long term it has to be more valuable than it currently is.........

this is not good mark , hop it doesn`t affect your day to day business too much........and here`s hoping mrs lumpy is soon recovering
