  1. its coming along fast now. Painted the chassis the tank and the chassis this morning and at 17.00 an allmost finished VVT 400. I always used Sparex paint. This is the first time i used Motip, but I'm going with motip from now on. superb paint. I'm still amazed how well it turned out..
  2. I believe the come of some sort of toy monstertruck. the are only €5 a pair. I just painted the chassis red, The tank is fully painted and details, Only need to make some hydraulik lines on the fillingarm and add some small details. I'l post a update later today
  3. Yep, why not? a nother Veenhuis ..... I build this model for a mate. He's really in to USA style equipment. I build a tanker like this for my own collection and he liked it so much that i what one to. Delivered the finished model yesterday to him and took some photos with a real USA style tractor pulling it. This is one of my best models so far. It really turned out great A photo from the build: And the finished model:
  4. I joined the forum about 2 years ago. First only to look at some of the nice building projects here. I posted a fie of my projects about a year ago. Recently i started posting again and I'm not planning on stop this time. I'm a member of the dutch farm models forum. But I'm done with that. A whole lot of kids around there in the age 10 tot 14 posting stuff build out of ice creamsticks and cardboard. It looks more like a playground these days than a farm toys forum, that's why i don't post there any more. The level of skills when it comes to building models here is a lot higher. This forum is in m opinion just a lot better !
  5. Thanks guys! I don't know what wheels these are. I bought a couple of them at the LCN event in Zwolle from a french man. The are the same size as the big flotation tyres from Robert Peters, Only real rubber.
  6. I got a couple of project running at the same time now. All so started a Veenhuis 9500 slurry tanker today. This model tanker was build around the 90's. Really like the looks of this rather small slurry tanker. Like the Veenhuis VVT400 and the Duport slurry tankers this one will all so be completely scratch build except the tires. Some photos of today's work:
  7. One of my new projects, A BSA Duport 11.500L slurry tanker. It's got a slide axle ( See images ) Its going to be 100 % scratch build except the tires. I will rebuild a Britains Samson injector to a Vredo. I allready build a Magnum 7130 from a Manu S kit to go with this tanker. Some photos fo the tanker with the wheels in "normal" position And the wheels in fully slided out. I build the sliding system from brass. Works pretty good this way. first photos slided in, second photo slided out.
  8. I'll try to get my new project on line later tonight Tris A little update for today. I finlay got the steering axles, So i fitted them on the chassis. Only need to make some small stuff and i can prime the chassis. The cab is in the colors now. Look pretty sweet already. The VVT can all so work in crab mode ( is that the right word? ) The cab steers with the axles so the cab is always in line with the direction of travel. Pretty cool feature
  9. Thanks guys for all those comments ! I'm waiting on 2 Joal 50mm steering axles from Walker parts at the moment. When i get those i spray some primer on the model. I'm going to start 2 more project this weekend. I'll make a separate topic on those models soon
  10. I sure Veenhuis equipment Tractorman. Veenhuis build a couple of different VVT. My plan is building them all. Some like JD. some like NH, i like Veenhuis.
  11. Thank Pete ! I did some more work tonight on the VVT. Disedit to use the Imber models front hitch. Modified it a bit to fit the VVT. Look pretty good if you ask me
  12. Hi guys Its been a while since i posted here. So its time for an update i guess. If been working on a Veenhuis VVT400 self propelled slurrytank. It is quite a complex machine with a lot of small details. I'm working on it for over a month now in my spare time. The Veenhuis is completely scratch build out of poly and PVC pipes. There machine is one of a kind. Veenhuis build one for a special customer. It was build around the 1995 an has a New Holland FX cab and controls. Its not painted in the Veenhuis colors but in the company colors of contractor M. Den Ouden from Holland. A photo of the 1:1 machine. I only have bad quality photos since there wore taken in the 90's. The didn't have digitalcamera's back than. The photos are from www.agrifoto.com And an picture taken 30min ago. Still need to build a lot of details on there and I'm not sure jet how I'm going to make the back hitch. I don't have any photos of the back of the machine. I'm thinking about using a Imber models front hitch. I'm using a cab of a NH FX from britians. And a older photo with the NH FX cab on the platform. The paint is drying at the moment, i painted the cab today.
  13. your right, Richard uses the cabs of the norscot jaguar 880 spfh. i think the cabs look rather good on those vervaet models He only builds the machines them selfs. He doesn't build injectors. I gues i nee to have a go on a injector myself. I also bought a nother Vervaet for my collection, A 2010 model with the 19m3 tanker.
  14. it costs a lot money, one of the models. but you get a great hand build model for it. I'm glad i have it in my collection now Here 2 photo's of the 1:1 models my 1:32 Vervaets are based on: The hydrotrike from contractor "Weco de hondsrug" The XXL from contractor "H. van Oosten"
  15. I also bought the Vervaet hydrotrike XXL from R. van der Veen. Its hase the collor and the decals on the tanks of a lockal contractor. Again he did a superb job with this hand build model !
  16. I'm building 2 Artex trailers at the moment of the model CB1200, Its a USA make trailer and its a 2 in 1. its both a manure spreader and a silage trailer in 1. I liked the trailer al lot so why don't build both rather than only one of them. i spray painted the models yesterday and did some detailing today. I need to order some decals and light at Walkerparts and that the moddels are finished. The 1:1 model: De Artex CB1200 as a manure spreader: De Artex CB1200 as a silagetrailer:
  17. Thanks guys ! Pleas call me Geoffrey, i signed up for this forum a long time ago. Just for looking at the nice models here. so the log in name is rather old. The 2 Artex trailers are finnished now, Only need some decals made by Walker Parts.
  18. Thanks guys ! Il make a topic about the Macdon 9300 later today. The front wheels are the back wheels from a krone big M/X and the back weels are from a Marston trailer from RC2. Both the Artex trailers are sprayed in the Artex white/cream collor. I only need some decals to fnisch of the models.
  19. - Artex CB1200 manure spreader - Artex CB1200 silage trailer ( the CB1200 is a 2 in 1 wagon, both a manure spreader and an silage trailer, i like the a lot so i'm building both ) - Macdon 9300 windrower
  20. Here my latest model. Its completely hand build exept the tires. Its a 34.000L usa type slurry tank. Veenhuis only made one of this type tanker. I realy liked the looks of it, there just something about that USA stuff that gets to me i thought it would be nice to add some "farm" stickesr on the tank, You see them a lot in the USA. so i used my onw last name for the stickers. I also converted a Fendt 936 from wiking with some duals in the back, silver rims. worklights on the roof, and i finished it of with some "Hoving Farms" stickers and USA flags on the mirrors. The 1:1 model: The 1:32 model:
  21. See this youtube movie from the trailer. you can see it unloading at the silagepit
