  1. I discovered this new technique in Cura late last night and sketched up a big bale earlier, i did incorporate six grooves for the strings, but the Fuzzy Skin has filled them in a bit, a handy option for doing hairy animals I guess, but I reckoned it would work well on bales, straw in particular and think it turned out well, I would then use elasticated thread as the string,E-bay £ 2.99 for 50 mtrs,

Really nice work! On a related note, where's everyone finding farm model files to print or are you all ace CAD modellers? My search on Cults didn't yield that much stuff.

cult's is one of the better .stl hosting sites Simon, But you'll find a wider choice on Yeggi, Also not everybody uses the term " Wheel " some folk prefer " Rims ", And if you have more money than sense Shapeways have loads of 3D files, But at a price,

Whilst we still in Scotland yesterday we decided to go up to Falkirk and visit the Kelpies and then follow the Forth and Clyde Canal to the Falkirk wheel, which to be fair is a fair old bit of engineering when you get up close to it

Glad Gemma and you enjoyed your visit Paul, sorry I never met you, but life's like that whiles, Aye the Falkirk wheel is a fair bit of engineering, apparently the thing is so well balanced it only needs the same amount of electricity to do a full revolution as it takes to boil a kettle, ?? Up top just behind the wheel in the mid 80's another record breaking machine worked, the first hydraulic excavator to exceed 500ton, The Demag H485 at 550 ton, I used to drop my wife and kids off the nearby leisure centre when I would wonder around taking snaps of it,

Yes you are correct, and with varying degrees of accuracy depending on which Hercules they actually measured. The Schuco Dinosaur looks to be a right mess, there were 2 versions of this and it looks as if they have done a mashup of both in one model.

On your other point, I have been waiting for nearly 15 years for a good SAME model and then a shed load come at once, not complaining but it has suddenly got very expensive. There is yet another SAME due out later this month, the Explorer 80 and 90 versions are due any day now

I wonder if the seat on the Dinosaur was in the down position or maybe knackered when they measured it, as the real deal's seat cushion appears to be almost level with the bonnet,

not fixed properly yet, but something i have wanted to do since the replicagri 188’s came out, uh 1200(work in progress) with a 188 back end grafted in, so proper(not acurate) working 3 point rear end, this is what i have been buying up 3 d printed implements for ,seeing as the brushwood scrap  sale has provided me 2 cheap 188’s  i had a go. still need to sort the top link mount, and surround for the hydralics ect at the rear

Don't know if these would be any interest to you Sean, But brass turnbuckles make good and adjustable top links from Cornwall boats,

Hopefully the fifth wheel will be compatible to a degree.

I think the Wiking King pin is fairly close to the MarGe coupling, If there is to much play you could very simply insert a short length of appropriately dimensioned piece of hollow polystyrene tube to take up the slack.

Looks like the Volvos have indeed received their facelift to an FH5, nice to see that Marge are still remaining flexible with what they build and investing beyond paint colours.

Just had a quick squint through the Zwolle photos again and noticed the Volvo FH05 Tridem is €149.95, but the hooklift container is €45.00.

    Caution 328 photo's, ??? https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?vanity=koentje.peirens&set=a.10230349675588185

Looking forward to seeing these in the flesh, they look better than some of the most recent releases! However I believe they will be similar pricing to the Marge tractor and trailer units.

I meant to post a piccy but forgot, The FH05 Trident is priced at €149.0.

Your a scholar and a Gentleman Sean,After watching the video MarGe put up in 2019 it's always worth double checking they're videos, That year they clearly showed models of two Claas Lexion combines, but no one noticed, never thinking they would be produceing them,.
