  1. They do come in green. Check out the front cover of farmers weekly from, i think, two weeks ago. I beleive its just their farm spec loaders that come in green, and construction kit in yellow.
  2. M/F 135 (no cab) on summers afternoon tedding hay.
  3. To Sparrow Legs, The light bar came of a toy van. I think it was a Corgi or similar. It was a repair truck or something and had a light bar front and rear.
  4. I had not built an Airfix kit or anything similar since i was a kid (40 odd years ago). This was marked as an "easy kit" and was 1/32 scale so it seemed a good place to start. Very easy to put together and once glued a lot more robust than its plastic suggests, but still not one i would let my three year old play with. Add one ot two bits, driver, lights etc. so i guess it gust scrapes in under the bar as a conversion.
  5. This was number three in the conversion list. This came to me in a bit of a state with a broken header and exhaust etc.
  6. Sorry mate but from previous bitter experience there is nothing you can do. All the family of "Super Glues" will fog clear plastics. I did a small test on a sheet of clear plastic a while back. The only one that did not fog the plastic was Revell Contacta Professional.
  7. Ross M/F 3060. Added Siku front hitch grab rails, mirrors, lights etc. This one was follwed by the yellow 595 already posted, a Britains combine (pictures to come in the next couple of days), and then the M\F 699, 2720 and 3680 already posted. The conversion was started after seeing www.farmmodels.net
  8. The 3680 on floats is a Britains font end mated to a Ross 3050 rear end and cab. The miorrs, grab rails and lights are all by my fair hand.
  9. The main problem was with the yellow paint. To get the actual colour i had to put on so many coats that the bottom coats started to crack as the plastic flexed very slightly. It is no visable in the picture but close up the paint looks like "crazy paving" under the top coats.
  10. This was one of my first attempts at a bit of conversion. This was a painting exercise and not any attempt at reproducing a real tractor.
  11. Ok guys it appears i have worked out this photo posting thing. This should be entitled "When is a 2680 not a 2680?" When its a 2720, 3680 and a 669 ! Be gentle with me. These are my first attempts at any conversions. All fairly standard stuff i know. Can anyone help me out with some decent quality decals for the 699 ?
  12. Need to remove the front axal from a Britains M/F 595 to covert it to a dedicated spray unit with a Chaffer sprayer. Whats the best way to get the front axal off with causing least amount of danage to the rest of the tractor ?? Can i remove it via the underneath of the tractor or will i have to split the two halves of the chassis casting ??
  13. If you start selling either the parts or completed model i would be very intrested. A really nice bit of work.
