  1. do you cart the bales back to the farm and rap them there. we cart them back to one of the farms where they are going to used for the cattle and rap them there less damage to the rap. down side is there are normaly about 6 people involved
  2. well sean if you ever needed a home for the deere when you come to trad it in let me know. so when is the next 600 coming home. must admit did like the look of them when i was a youngster
  3. well you will just have to keep on driving the fergies then mate. so what do you think he would replace it with. would you have to have a loader fitted to it again
  4. i still like the old style steps as well made the tractor look good. those steps are more suited to the big 50 series such as 4950
  5. well hope you manage to get a new machine martin. what about trying to get him to buy a ford 40 series for you. well sean i agree that why when i retire from the army would love a nice 4 whd 2850.
  6. i haven't seen any in the flesh of those steps sean but they were on the very last 50 series. seen a couple in the sales bit in classic tractor.
  7. I am in the middle of building a 2850 and a 6430 on a 6920s chassis with uh fergie wheels.
  8. very nice mate like the new machine. spending out a bit there replacing 2 trailers and may be a new tractor

  13. it will be charoles mate. ye they sure do Alan senior used to work with the farm we lifted tatties with and since he has gone contracting he cuts our grass and we hire dung spreaders from him and if nobody is there he does it for us.

FARMERS name is Jim Muirhead. if he asks just tell him the pitures are for me. no that is one of the guys that does a bit of contracting know his son hamish. no firhills is on the back road to arbroath from friockheim. it is across from smiles tattie shed and just before you go over the railyway bridge. we have three farms in total firhills upper newbigg and pebbles farm which is at the back of condor it has the big black hanger shed.
  15. well get loads of pictures please as i wont be home for it. if you go through the cattle if you see any cattle from firhills farms can you get some pics.
  16. SEE on the one on the trailer has had the american style indicators fitted take it they have gps for it as well as it has the bracket. ye you know me. about another 10 weeks and i will get behind the wheel of our 6830 for a bit of summer work.
  17. nice pictures mate the 6930 is a bit unusual for the area as it seems to be the loader tractor. tidy fleet though
  18. not to bad mate very good build. have been busy at work to so not much time for building hope to get my 2850 6430 and 6910 finished this month. will be heading back to scotland at end of august to help for a week or so at the harvest on the trusty 6830.
