spoke to my mate today he has 20 acres left from 400m then he has about 900acrs of barelyto cut before he starts the wheat. was waffleing the grass today so it should be baled by end of the night had to go out with the wife so i didn't get to bale but will be back tommorrow and will be bring home whats left of the silage.

cut it on thursday then the rain came so it is wet as you can imagin hope the weather clears this week might get it baled by end of week

thats the one martin just after the services. no but we got the rape finished and the last of it has gone in the next thing i am waiting for is the weather to dry up so we can get the silage done.

Well have gone back to scotland for our summer holidays. but unlike most people i have been out working when i can. we arrived home on tuesday the 7th at about 1.30pm. by 7.00pm i was on the seat of one of the farms john deeres. i had arrived home at the perfect time the oilseed rape was just starting to be combined. for the past 10years i have always carted the oilseed rape,and this year would be no different.We cart our rape of the combined about 23 miles straight into the dryer at the grain merchants.The first night we filled up the three trailer with rape for the next morning. One trailer was on our friends t reg fergie can't say i liked the drive much, the other was on 6410 and the last on our 6820. Wednesday and thursday were taken up with carting the oilseedrape from our farm to there for me and jim combining the rest of the rape and guess what i had my camera along for the ride.

we had one of our tractors out at the tatties on friday about three days lifting can't remember variety it was. then they are of up north to inverness to start 500 acres.

NO problem FB i will post them up in the next couple of days as i am traveling back to scotland with the family.will use my dads computer to post pictures.

Scotty the front hitches came from f-p a while ago and he doesn't have any more the are also from the uh renult tractors. the steering knob came out easy i drilled out the cab roof retainers in the cab glass and took the roof of and it came away. i then drilled out the long tube in the cab. will post a pic later for you scotty. also filled in the hole with filler sanded it down and then sprayed it jd green. cheers spud

The last of the new line up at firhills farm. a 7930 with front hitch, pictures with the 7530 these will be doing all the carting for firhills farms at the harvest this year.

cheers martin i thats a ronny trailer in the back ground. will have a ronny trailer on my 6820 next week no doubt will needed to get that boiler suit to you as well. cheers deerepower been waiting for the 75 to come out to do it. kept the wheels all this time from zowell for it will lok better when i get the cab finished

next up is a 7530 with front hitch. i have also removed the steering knob and the becon and replaced it with two from agrium. the hitch folds down into the working position. it is in the travel position for road work just now. in the cab i have fitted arm rests and command centre monitor for controling the tractorsfunctions.

I have removed the steering knob and also the flasher and filled in the holes and put a flashing bar on it
