yeah is a 6 cylinder, was told by jd nut that the 6920s is a tad longer in the wheel base than the 6820,6620,6520 .it should say on the JD website some where.
thanks , having problem getting a good picture of both sides and the boom. can make the boom one from the computer i think by finding the right writing style ,then the right shade of grey, then get some clear sticky paper. thats the easy bit. the decal on the bonnet is in two different shades of grey i think. will stick at it.
the differance is the front lights are painted on the tim one and you have to cut out the bit of metal that the bonnet holds on to the skid unit. the tim bonnet has the right decals on it too. the cab from the tim one has no mirrors on it or wipers painted on. the skid unit is a bin job and the wheels are very good for up grades on other things. have seen them on the JD 7920 somewhere. think it might have to have a UH loader on it?
two of my first conversions, 956 has a britains front axle ,britains wheels all round. 856 has cx wheels all round and was cut down. going to upgrade them to uH wheels or row crops. wish they were still in the box's.there were so many about when i did these.
just put a NH tsa 135 bonnet, cab etc on a ttv with front linkage and put the NH skid unit under a tim JD6520 bonnet and cab etc, just got to get the paint off the dinning table be fore the old ball and chain gets home
hi ,for the decals you want just get a picture or use the farmers auto trader , scan the decal then , go to paint on your computer. resize pic then print on to normal paper till you get it right, get hold of some glossy sticker paper and print them off. this is how i do them. see how you get on mate
