  4. thats ok then, a t8000, t7000 and t6000 steady on britains and the 5000, ftf 6600 and 7000 fords as well .
  5. thought about getting some decals and doing the 187 MF think it would be easyer than the two tone of the claas one
  6. the front hopper has the hopper belt from the siku beet harvester and the other belts are bought from a model shop called antics in plymouth. i bought it for doing a roof on some barns. it has lines on it to give it that real look like roofing sheets, they do sheets that have block work printed in them too. when painted grey they look good and they have a good texture too. worked at riverford organic veg this winter, which is in a place called totnes (well just outside) they have two bulk grading graders ( one is for carrots parsnips etc & a spud one) with lots of polish girls on that site. then on the main site two more graders that has all the netting, baging and boxing stuff. will do another grading line for carrots , went on the tong website and got some good idea's
  7. started it at one today, wish it did take 5 mins. not that hard when you have a picture in front of you. welder run out (super glue ) so couldn't finish it today. going to paint red .

  11. the body work i had left over from doing the JD 6520 (skid unit used ) has been put on a TTV skid unit. makes it look better i think? , some where there must be hell of a pile of TTV bonnets and cabs
  12. did these with the kids one wet sunday , made the decals .kids not to good at the paint either. but they like to have them on dads shelf.in the shed

  17. do like these conversions with these wheels on .makes them alot better. nice job too
  18. yes very good work. have never seen one for real but looks good
  19. yeah is a 6 cylinder, was told by jd nut that the 6920s is a tad longer in the wheel base than the 6820,6620,6520 .it should say on the JD website some where.
  20. thanks , having problem getting a good picture of both sides and the boom. can make the boom one from the computer i think by finding the right writing style ,then the right shade of grey, then get some clear sticky paper. thats the easy bit. the decal on the bonnet is in two different shades of grey i think. will stick at it.
  21. it has UH back wheels and the front are from the ertl JD little square baler. any one got an idea?
  22. the differance is the front lights are painted on the tim one and you have to cut out the bit of metal that the bonnet holds on to the skid unit. the tim bonnet has the right decals on it too. the cab from the tim one has no mirrors on it or wipers painted on. the skid unit is a bin job and the wheels are very good for up grades on other things. have seen them on the JD 7920 somewhere. think it might have to have a UH loader on it?
  23. two of my first conversions, 956 has a britains front axle ,britains wheels all round. 856 has cx wheels all round and was cut down. going to upgrade them to uH wheels or row crops. wish they were still in the box's.there were so many about when i did these.
