  1. did they call him the 'uncomfortable driver ' he could of only have been 12.5 stone in real life just so he could sit behind the bloody steering wheel , so 12. 5 stone = 189 pounds so is that 5.9 pounds in 1/32 scale ,,,,,,,, hmmm that hasnt worked out has it
  2. Spose I could scratch the 6 out and scrawl in a 4 ๐Ÿค”

  6. I see that HLT sell after market 3 point linkage for tractors , As someone who is not keen on standard equipment on the likes of Britains I fancy a go at some major spanner work , I presume its back wheels off , cab off , cut back end off tractor and glue new bit back on making sure of enough room for the cab to be refitted . sounds easy but ,,,,,,,,,,,,,am I being a muppet to consider this
  7. Never used a wizzler but next door had one , reckond it used to make his nuffer sweat in a good crop of seeds ๐Ÿ˜‚ A gentleman from over the border on the west side of England made 4 KM22's , lovely little model with one to sell but to strong a money for me , shame it would of gone well on the back of my 65
  8. A certain member on here will be glad to see his old combine under cover now So this is 1966/67/68 and apart from the brick buildings all that was here So now the hard part , time to make it scruffy and more realistic In 68 sheep joined us and the County went down the road to be replaced by a MH101
  9. One of the best combines built IMHO
  10. You beat me to the reply Paul , what a fantastic model , saw one at Spalding and I was very tempted ,,,,,, but we never had one , had a 1550s instead because dad felt impoverished when we were swopping the 135 in , he always said it was the worse ยฃ4 k he ever saved , it had a sweat box for a cab as well , not a nice place to spend a hot afternoon
  11. My mistake , sorry Paul ,,,,,,,,,, yes the New Holland
  12. lets have a look at the combine then Ian , cant tease a arable man with a slightly out of focus shot of a yellow header you know
  13. so as far as conversions go this is a fairly easy one then
  14. So on ebay at the moment there's a nice UH 7810 that has been converted from 4wd to 2wd , nicely done and I wouldn't mind it parked up in my shed but it seems there are others who think it should be in their shed which is fair enough , now I'm very new to this and I could do with some help , what value do you put on top of a nice model for it to be converted to exactly what you have sat in your yard . what sort of figure would it cost me if I bought a standard 4wd Ford 7810 to get it made into a 2wd
  15. did see it on EBay and looks a lovely model , I put a cheecky bid on it but It soon crept up a bit more , so I will leave it for and just watch to make sure its not given away . picked up a vaddy 6 m drill last night so at last Ive got something to go behind my Puma 240 ๐Ÿ˜
  16. Started getting the asbestos roofs painted tonight but definitely got the colour wrong although the Dutch Barn roof and the corrugated tin side cladding will be painted black so should be some contrast there

  18. One thing I've got to get my head around is being more careful with the glue John
  19. yup way to tidy !!!!!! as soon as its done then it needs untidying !!!!!
  20. Okay , so slow going but drier has been put in , just the burner to fit and control console . Elevator is in , just a grain pit to put in , then a block wall and finish cladding , lean to roofing turned up on Thursday , so that may get fitted on Monday if it's raining and the wife goes out

  22. Just found this in the desk , he bought one to go on the Muir Hill 101 in 1968
  23. A old friend of mine died last year , he was a avid collector of anything ( or wouldn't throw anything way ) In the tool shed there were probably 10 or more of these billhooks , all bar 2 needing handles . most of them ended up in the scrap bin I'm afraid
