  1. More details as the press are now releasing there articles. http://www.fwi.co.uk/Articles/2010/08/13/122829/New-600-and-700-Claas-Lexions-break-cover.htm http://www.profi.com/news/‘EASY_does_it’_on_new_Lexion/1043
  2. Slight difference between trucks and combines but I guess time will tell....... As i also said there is an issue of noise and size doing that speed in this country that MAYBE doesn't effect North America......

    Harvest Woe's

Split the topic Tris!! Start a new one titled "Harvest Woes"
  4. Like I say: "Maybe in the prairies but I doubt it here Malc." Honest, braking 16 or so tonne at 40 kph would be hard.....
  5. Maybe in the prairies but I doubt it here Malc. We have to restrict combines because of the noise, size and braking ability at 40kph. I would be very suprised to see a combine in Europe doing 40kph. Maximum 30kph. Jez
  6. As far as I have heard from my sources it will loko something like this with models inbetween, e.g. 740, 750, 760 and 770 700 Series: Rotary Lexions 600 Series: 6 Straw Walker Lexions 500 Series: 5 Straw Walker Lexions 400 Series: Big Tucano's 300 Series: Small Tucano's 200 Series: Avero So it is a re numbering than new models...... and so nothing new or bigger.... 7. you are the man in the know sir... Time will tell my friend....
  8. It was this part that is the worst bit: The article reports as well about the conflicts between Cathrina CLAAS (Helmut CLAAS’ daughter) and the other persons of the senior management team.. The article says CLAAS employees are fed up with Cathrina CLAAS management style… " They are Claas's core values.. that they are still a family company... nto good that she is upsetting the Claas boat. Also on another note the fiat group are talking of breaking up and selling the CNH ag and construction brands..... All interesting times it seems!!
  9. Could be mate but i would be suprised.... Claas are the only company to spend less on R&D this year... Claas are having problems... This was reported int he German Financial Times: http://www.ftd.de/unternehmen/industrie/:agenda-maehen-und-dreschen-bei-claas/50148551.html Basically saying: "CLAAS is having a very bad Fiscal Year this year. The Turnover is even worse than last year which is the big surprise here. It seems that CLAAS is suffering a lot more than expected and compared to the other Ag Companies, CLAAS’s income 2010 is worse when all the other competitors are recovering slowly in 2010 versus 2009. As a result, this year CLAAS will have 1 billion € less turnover than they had in 2008.. The article reports as well about the conflicts between Cathrina CLAAS (Helmut CLAAS’ daughter) and the other persons of the senior management team.. The article says CLAAS employees are fed up with Cathrina CLAAS management style… "

    Harvest 2010

Great pics Malc!!! We should rename this topic "Malc's Harvest 2010" !! The tank may be for fires... when I was driving a baler we had tanks not fire extinguishers because of the pressure in the extinguisher would blow the burning bits about and set more on fire but the water would just extinguish what was burning there.... Great pics....

    Harvest 2010

Open the concave till the returns get too high.. if the returns are clean grain then open the bottom sieve.. if the sample gets worse then speed up the fan till the grain gets in the windrow..... The T series are well known that you can open the concave a bit.. even more in wheat.. a bit like the C670. That is why they are known as the highest capacity walker combines in the world!
