They always used go sit up like that when I was carting. We used to heap them up high as we could. More than you can with wheat or barley which runs more.

    Harvest Woe's

Lesson learnt!!! Oh dear, not good.... When you say "lad" Gav do you mean a young one? Was he the normal driver?
  6. Oh yes.... With guest appearance by "Borat"
  7. DD. There was a Xylon near to me when I was growing up. It was the blue and white one with a Tank ont he front and pretty much only used for spraying. If I get back to the UK sometime I will send you some pics. I loved this tractor even if it was the "other" green. Genius invention. I used to have the launch DVD from Fendt I got at a royal show. In fact it was this one:
  8. Yes they had a summer party... it was hapenning all day so quite a lot of people yes.
  9. Have a look here mate: http://www.farmtoysforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,31599.msg660010.html#msg660010 Website link there too. That is where they shot the pics for the new claas models (Big Xerion etc) so i think they no more than they let on.
  10. Very true Paul. I was in your model paradise today Malcy, a claas dealership in 1/32 scale and the guys were talking about the new models from claas hopefully coming soon.
  11. Marky, you can't really see but the lorry driver is wearing Massey Overalls! And these are unbeleivable. One guy has rewired working lights into the Siku 1/87 scale models: Thats all folks. I wanted to meet Thomas (Green sheets and yellow wheels) but he will go there tomorrow. How ever, I did see one of his Spread a Bale models and this is amazing. Great craftmanship, detail and paint quality!! A very interesting trip!
  12. These are all for tris and any other truck lovers. I met some of the team but they were not familiar with FTF. I tild them to check it out. AMAZING "pimped" siku scania!
  13. This BioMass station is based on one that is a few km down the road. Fantastic terrain, it really makes it look great:
  14. Some of the best trees I have seen... made with real tickes then moss stuck to them and finally sprayed with glue and then scatter material sprinkled on.
  15. Fellow FTF'ers! I was lucky enough to find the advert for the Landtechnik Modellteam's Summer party (http://www.landtechnik-modellteam.de/). It was only 45 minutes drive from me so I packed my camera, donned my Farm Toys Forum Polo Shirt and took my best German skills to see what they had to show. WOW :of What an amazing display! The pictures do not do it justice. The complete display covers around 110 square meters in total and most of the machines around are Radio Controlled. Either modified or Siku Control. I am uploading some pictures now into PhotoBucket. When it is done I will post some here for all to see.
  16. I take it you don't mean the CTS system mate? That was the original lexion design.... As for a twin rotor design we have our C Series that works very well and keeps the customers happy.... Twin rotor for separating then that is the NH system....
  17. I imagine he takes the weight of the machine on the cutting arm mate then moves the track out... Just a guess like... Jez
  18. You don't move forward by sitting still mate Thanks Jez
  19. Each to their own I suppose..... I have seen figures that can prove that comment very different.... Those two words do not really fit with Claas. Interesting pics Malc, I am eating my words with reference to the 40kph but lets see the sales in Europe. Any good pics of the "new" cab?
