G&M were selling one at Spalding, i was very tempted to get one as i want both of the models i can't remember the price exactly but i know it was less than that by quite a bit.
-
Im not really into construction models to start with but say they started another agri range in 1/43 i still wouldn't be able to cope with another collection. I have barely enough room for my 1/32 collection!

Firstly yesterday i spent most of my day in hospital after the Dr. feared i may of had a bad allergic reaction to my Tetanus jab, but the other Dr. said it was probably just an extremely nasty virus. After sleeping practically the whole day i just about had enough energy to stand around at rugby training and ....
Some new kid was getting all aggresive in a training match and then after got his Dad to have a go at me because and this is the best bit, he got a knee in the head in a ruck
Aww boohoo, so then i told his Dad that if he can't hack playing rugby he should play football and he threatened to beat my Dad up
But our coach is going to have a word with the guy so it should all cool down, but how stupid can you get

One of my best mates cry after the jabs at school

Me and him are what was known as in the jab business as bleeders
But i didn't cry

same here paul, wonder if its been glued on from the factory for some reason??
I spent most of last night hammering it in exactly the same way you've said Paul and it has not budged, not even moved a little bit. Out of 4 wheels after 3 days only one has come out

Had my jabs at schooooooool
Rugby match had to cancelled because no one could move their arms
Training instead
Saw lots of farming action including tattie harvest with brand new Masseys but had to do my paperround
Paperround
And pulled my groin i think in rugby
And have a migrane

Personal health social education ( something along those lines )
Basically the form tutor talks about teenage life, you get talks from people from condom manafacturers and the fire brigade basically pushing you along the right paths of youth

Well today i have been in school like most days but had fun in Chemistry as we were discussing oil being burnt. So were using bunsen burners, and some bright spark dropped a pepette full of &*%$ chemical or other all down his arm and still lit the bunsen with a splint, and what a suprise his arm was alight for a second or two, which then dropped on the floor and set the floor alight for a second
Before you could say flame half the class were setting there fingers and limbs on fire
Then coincidently we had a chat in PSHE next period about arson
:D
Then went back to work with Pietro making the wine, and now a little bit tipsy

tell ya what, it looks amazing, and is prob going to give hours of fun to anyone who buys it, but how the hell can they justify 200 odd quid for it, even the cheaper one wont be that cheap i bet, i can go and buy a big tamiya one and build that for the same price, far more fun and detail
as good as it looks i cant see many being sold to kids, mostly oldies like us lot truth be know
I totally agree there Sean, a few years ago when i would classify as a kid i suppose i used to look at the top shelf in the toyshop with the RC stuff and never really fancied it because of the price, i think there a good idea but are Siku maybe heading in the wrong direction by making good models exclusive to RC? Maybe it would obviously cost more to make but an RC version would still hold on to an audience of children who maybe cannot afford the RC version but still want a few trucks around the farm
-
Not in the field all though near me which is all salad areas they use alot of slug pellets, but my vegetable patch is absoelutly thriving with them this year .. not for long muuhaha
-
I do like it i have to say, i wish Siku sold an un-RC one, would be a good one for conversionists

Received the row crop wheels today Paul.
They look great and I shall try and get them fitted to my Fendt 818 shortly and get pics up.
Thanks again Paul
A very chuffed Brian
Same im very pleased with them, will get pics when im finished. There just what i've been looking for and will suit my diorama, if i ever get them on
Thanks mate
-
I saw some in boxes around a field earlier, hopefully going to the farm in half term to sell them by the road
Thanks for the pictures
-
I decided to finally get the Big X out of the box it has sat in since I got it, and it really is a stunning model all round. It wouldn't
For some reason the one half of the header won't stay up, so another reason why it will probably sit on the shelf rather than in a barn!
Thanks for the pics it is an excellent model it has to be said. I had the same problem with the header, someone else told me the same. It appears to be the same side also
