  1. I was thinking of cutting one of the presses in half and off-set it half way to match the patern of the real ones. i want to figure out how to scolip the press (like the disc blades) and i was just thinking for the packer roller i could add brass rod to the siku rollers and cut a good chunk out of the orignal roller? would that look right?

  2. Hey im pretty sure that the left is closer to the orignal type of tires it had. alot of farmers put the mud type (right side) on for when they were used in winter in order to get better steering traction ( the ribed tyres slide realy easly on the side(turned (My 2140 is shocking even with a buckt of silt)) but the ribed tyres are what you genraly see on old 2wd tractors hope this helps you

  4. looks just like a JD with silver wheels !  but why ?

The tread patern is alot diffrent to the Orignal. i think it looks like a 7010 series now with the slightly large wheels.

paint them yellow, silver doesnt look right ;)

other than that its an ok model. Are the wheels removable ???

Yea thats the plan just havent got any JD yellow left used it all on my mail box. Im still working on how to make them removable. atm they are just on a bar axle. When i get more time im going to make them like snaplock ones

The pit crew are. A 1:40 scale Hyunadi HL770 with a (poorly) homemade buckrake and a JD6920s and a front end loader mounted buckrake poorly) Homemade again im still improving both rakes. Here is a beta pic of the pit crew

  8. Pete I know KS Metals do some realy nice brass mesh. i went to the local fabricshop and found some nice black mesh. its a lil trickey to glue becouse yoy have to sandwedge it in a frame to realy make it stick but it looks realy cool and its heaps cheaper than KSM brass mesh
