  1. Wish we had 1/2 the sun shine in them pictures. :)

That sunshine parted ways around 730 just when the rain started to apper

Was just thinking how nice it was to be reminded of summer

Summer ...... summer...... what is that its still spring if you go by the weather we are having over here. it hasnt stoped rainin g since we stared covering the stack :'(

hey Nick nice pics of Lauries outfit ;)

I've actually done a few hours on that 7810, its a beast. I used to work for Harris Bros at Sanson and we borrowed it to do some giant discing. Its great to drive, but our big discs managed to make it grunt on the hills  ;D Nightmare of a machine to drive across the Bulls bridge might i add!!!

I used to mow for him using a JD 6810 and JD trailed mower conditioner ( Harris Bros do most of his mowing ). That was a laugh, some days I had the chopper right up my ass as i was mowing  :o

Yes i have to agree that the pics do look good. but it does help when the gear looks good in the padock tho. that 7810 has a tad over 3000hrs now. they droped the backend on our silage stack last year  ;D ;D

Looks like dean has just got a new 6*20jd with mowco in his yard. hes slowly going green ive noticed. there ant as much blue as there was witch is a shame

  2. why are the front wheels turned wrong way round on the 6600? i heard before its to reduce wear when doing a lot of road work is this true?

CAnt say i had noticed that. I was stearing at it 4 30 min working in the padock and i didnt even notice  :o.

I guess they might be like that to reduce the wear as 4 wd isnt used much with rakes and tedders. Ill try and do some digging to find out why they are

  3. thats a real nice clean one there, any idea what year it is?

Going from a nz book i have here im going to say around 87. (thats when the first one came in)

This guy keeps his gear in top shape. very very presantable. His 4455 just went past And that looked new.

  4. Hey guys had a huge day yesterday. (330am till9pm) mowed till 3pm then started to cover the stack. Here are a few pics of the gear that was the contarctors.  (i didnt get pics of my mowing tractor or the other one) We had a JD3350 with krone swadro, JD6600 and a 6 or 8M Khun tedder a class 890 and a JD7810

  5. wat mower did they have or didnt you see it  ???

I couldnt tell you unforntly thats all i got to see :'( when i went past the next day the gear was gone and all that was left was a nice stack covred and all. From my info sources the guy runs all jd appart fom his rakes. they are krone. so im thinking it was either a jd mover or a krone. Im going to hunt him down on the weekend

  6. I have a 1980-81 catalouge and it dosent have any farm stuff in. The next one i have is the 1991-92 one and that has alot of nice farm stuf in so im thinking about 58 they started to make farm stuff. i could be wrong. hope this helps you a bit

Thanks its 3 years work and thats just my 32 stuff :o i have equaly as much in 16 and 87 (combined)

Lately i have been getting them from a tractor dealer in town but things are cahnging next year tho.

  8. Class jag and 2 trucks carting off grass silage in front of a JD6620 with 4 furrow KV up his bum was a Fiat F130 with 3mtr kuhn power harrow and trailing press all working in the same paddock.Today we had the 2 tillage tractors working along with a fendt 818TMS and momsem planter. 8) 8)
