  1. This is a NZ company, reese engineering. thought some of you might be interested in their gear. They own Aitchison too, our local seed drill manufacturer. http://www.reeseagri.co.nz/reesegroup/

    Ford 8210

thats impressive tris. wereabouts are you doing it, near ohaupo?
  10. i am so glad i just got a pay rise...
  11. nice pics mate looks like they have a bit of good gear. notice you boys out and about now and then
  12. gotta be the ford 8630, or anything from the 10 series like an 8210 or 7810. I despise the genesis, 8670. Did a whole season on one and its the biggiest piece of junk i have ever driven. Probably just that particular tractor was a dud maybe, but i hated it!! Sorry, I know its not tractors you hate, but i have a soft spot for hating it and i totally agree there!!! I cut my teeth on one of those, we still have it only done like 3500 hours too. Dual power muahaha!
  13. excellent work mate i envy the space you have to do a display!
  14. im right in hamilton mate
  15. mate you have yet to experience some of the wicked kiwi built machinery Gallagher stuff was made locally here in hamilton. Their flail choppers were the workhorse of the kiwi ag industry!! Not sure how much ag machinery they make nowdays. Interested to see this peat harvesting... you'll have to post pics
  16. you guys sure know how to pick strange contractors never seen anything like that before. I was at ohakune for work this week and i saw the most impressive silage setup... a ford 4600 on an old gallagher chopper, with a ford 3000 towing tiny bins ( he was carting to the stack with one while the other was hooked behind the gallagher). And on the stack was a ford 5600 with rollmaster cab and front end loader. He was doing a fair acerage too!!
  17. He got backed into a corner to buy that tractor Dont worry he is still a blue man at heart. The old 7700 is still the main workhorse!!
  18. hey Nick nice pics of Lauries outfit I've actually done a few hours on that 7810, its a beast. I used to work for Harris Bros at Sanson and we borrowed it to do some giant discing. Its great to drive, but our big discs managed to make it grunt on the hills Nightmare of a machine to drive across the Bulls bridge might i add!!! I used to mow for him using a JD 6810 and JD trailed mower conditioner ( Harris Bros do most of his mowing ). That was a laugh, some days I had the chopper right up my ass as i was mowing
  19. looks like an impressive machine. I especially like the fast steer system with the inner ring on the steering wheel. never seen that before, wouldnt want to knock it accidentally tho!
  20. cheers mate I got both the jags from landpower in palmy. I need to get the 690's in there, makes for one diverse team
  21. sorry the quality is quite disgusting, camera has seen much better days!
