Superb pictures when were they taken?
Thanks Rhys, these are from around or just over 30 years ago mate.

I thought I'd start this topic to share some of the machinery my Dad John has driven for the best part of 40 years of his life having left the family farm to persue a career in civil engineering. He's driven quite a few different machines over the years spending a fair amount of his career on bulldozers and other heavy plant, before spending the latter part mainly on JCB 3CXs and similar machines on new housing estates.
The first selection of photos are of some Case 850 tracked loaders, a solitary Massey Ferguson and a JCB 806 excavator.
JCB 806, MF and Case Tracked loaders being used on a slurry lagoon project near Gristhorpe, Filey.
B series tracked shovels awaiting delivery at Bradford.

Couple of pictures of the John Deere sprayer that has been causing plenty of discussion recently. Not sure about the model Britains have recently launched, but here's the real deal seen at Cereals in 2007 and 2008.
2007 version.
and last year.

Some brilliant models in amongst those Pete, certainly given me a few ideas for my Spalding "shopping list" Those 55XL series tractors look superb along with all your very nice conversions

Here's my two most recent purchases and a selection of old items my Dad found in an old margerine tub whilst spring cleaning the garage today.
The Major and 65 aren't in the greatest of shape, but do hold a little bit of sentimental value.

Two purchases from a local flea market I attended today.

Yeah the Holmer is basically a power plant David, Sytems Tractor or something they call them. Bit like OnTop etc.
There was a TF46 running riot round here somewhere a year or too back. A friend of mine was telling me about it. It was cutting with a Lexion 570 super duper fancey all singing all dancing thing. . .. and was stripping it of any decency too!!
It was a seriously impressive machine when I went to see it, it's still on the same farm and another place i'm hoping to return to this year, as they also run a bubble cabbed Ford TW-25 which I haven't got pictures of, now that would be a nice to see running along side the TF46
Nice Amac pictures Walter . Funny to see the very English approach of putting a sorting table at the back still! A shame that it will decrease the machines capacity a lot.
Looking forward to see more stuff. The TF pictures you mentioned sound superb .
Thanks Niels, they're on the way along with lots of other machines
Here's the other machine to appear on the Holmer stand last year a big 6 row sugar beet harvester.
....and talking of Lexions here's a second hand 480 seen on the Combine World stand.

Nice TF44 there David The guys I am working for have a TF42, an old one mind but she earns her crust ever year contracting. As for the Homer, what a strange looking machine!
Thanks Tris, I've always liked the look of the big TFs, may have to have a ride over this summer to were I saw this one as I think there's a few more working in the area.
Some where in a wallet i've some working photos of a TF46 I went along to see on a friend's farm a few years ago, very impressive machine, i'll get them dug out and scanned.
I've only ever seen anything like the Holmer in magazines before and in other topics on here, I'm assuming the Terra Variant is a platform machine that can be used with other equipment.

Having seen Niels topic on those astonishing scratch built brass Amac ZM2 self propelled harvesters, here's the Vista cabbed version I spotted in a field on the way back from Driffield Steam Fair.
(Apologies for attributing your topic to the wrong forum member mate, drinking beer and reading forums doesn't mix )

Amazing scratch build Sean, very, very impressive, looking forward to seeing it finished

That's a cracking conversion for a first attempt at slicing and dicing, very smart ( i'll stick to doing up a cheap plastic friction drive toy before I have the guts to cut something like those up )
Do prefer the styling of the older Agrotrons to the newer versions, there's a few round my neck of woods near Scarborough, look forward to seeing the real tractor too.

Having seen ksp's brilliant photos of big slurry handling equipment abroad, heres a big self -propelled tanker based around a Holmer Terra Variant taken at Cereals last year.
-
Some impressive models you've got there in a very nice home for them, looking forward to following this
-
Some contractors use a spf slurry thing like theese. But it has a limited reach and cannot do more than a 25t slurry tanker and tractor. Normally we just use a buffer tank when the distance is long but in short distance or a field next to a tank, you can take out 100-130 t per hour.
Never seen anything like those ksp, very interesting machine, only ever seen a tractor linkage mounted umbilical system before, keep them coming
-
Wow Now that's a big pair of tankers, very impressive photos.

David.

That's correct mate, I have a Canon A4 sized scanner that scans them to a program that allows me to trim up the edges and remove any scratches, i've had it about 4 years and it's finally getting some proper use.
