  3. I am not sure really since it is easy to generalize here when the topic probably needs to be more narrow in it's focus...RC2 has a solid base in North America. I doubt anyone will crack that base. Now if you talk about the 1/32 scale then it narrows it down to the fact that UH is stepping into North America in a pretty big way. We have to remember RC2 has never paid a lot of attention to this market..Britains in the old days yes...but RC2 not....they pretty much treated the scale like the a stepchild......Not sure they will feel they have to match UH in this scale.....may not be worth the increase in budget to even attempt staying with UH. I bet RC2 will do anything and everything to keep UH away from Deere and Case products.....if they can manage that then RC2 is not going to sweat......There are 40 approx Toy Trac like shows a month in USA....the market is just huge......RC2 got no worries....

  16. ;D I know my personality is overwhelming at times... Takes a while to learn to talk to you juicers....
  17. Not sure were this topic should go so if Mods have a better idea that would be fine with me....... I had two. First one was "bucking hay" meaning we had to lift an 80 pound bail onto an 18 wheel flatbed trailer and truck. I hated it because we had no lift just pure muscle but the worst was the darn snakes. It was high desert country in Washington State and the fields were just below the Rattlesnake Mnts. hence those damn rattlers would come down early morning to get under the bail that sat on small shallow ditches for irragation. One learn to use a hay hook and first turn the bail on it's side toward you so the bail was between you and the snake.....but sometimes a snake was bailed right into the bail and dead but when you lifted the bail the snake brushed against your leg....pooed my pants more then a few times...... Second worst job was fence mending. Had to replace old barb wire with new....never failed that the wire would roll or come loose while trying to tighten it up and wrap around an arm....cut the dickens out of us.....hated that job always seem to be over 35 c on those days..... These two job encouraged me to stay at Uni for 8 years.....
  18. Well cuse me, Tractor Rallies, one would think I was calling you a fossil ....I remember now what caught my eye....The color of the tractor is almost the same as the Case VAC that I grew up on cutting hay with my brother John. He actually drove the tractor during cutting and I rode the mower.....I remember the seat always pinched my butt.....and could not take the mower out of gear on hills since the breaks were naff on the VAC....earn 5 dollars a acre...I was 12 and john was 15.... actually the front looks very similar.....I drove the VAC in the wheat field doing spring toothing......
  19. Question for the guys going to the antique shows, is this a tractor that is seen? Someone has done a lovely job of putting it together.....nice detail and nice color....Imagine old farts like me living over there would have seen it in operation.....
  20. I would love to see the math....Case NH Deere, big ticket items....I would think you could buy a nice Massey for much less and get some quality too...that is what we are seeing out west where I live...... all the name branding is talk but when it comes down to money it may be a different kettle of fish.....
  21. Sean makes a good point without the ring hitch most of the implements in North America wont work since few big farms use a 3 point hitch. Pulling big implements need a ring hitch of somekind...If it can be turned under that would be a good compromise.
  22. Your right there Aunty jo lot of people who stay home and deal with the kids work harder then someone in an 8 to 5......
  23. Bet you read that somewhere didn't ya.......
