nice conversion. Was Torpedo also produced in Hungary? Always thought it was Rijeka, Croatia and never knew there was a model by Elastolin. I could only find a 3D model of a 7506deutz_torpedo_7506_3d_model_c4d_max_obj_

The real deal at the World Ploughing Championships a couple of years ago TD 75-06

  2. Many years ago Britains did both the 3600 and 3800 telehandler but you don't see them very often now.

Schuco did the John Deere 7800 but now going for big money if you ever see one, expect to pay around £150

And a Matbro teleram , john Deere 3800🤣

Good luck with the JD 3800, I assume that you mean the tractor that was based on a a Claas and done by Siku? They are quite hard to find although I sold one at Zwolle a couple of years ago

Following this rigmarole since yesterday evening the said seller has now had 14 negative feedbacks with the same issues - so I am going to request refund

If its who I think it is then he has previous for selling models that he doesn't actually have and taking the money and disappearing. G & M posted a warning about him a couple of weeks ago as last time he told people to go to Graham for a refund when he has nothing at all to do with him.

Lucky guy Mike, Looks like your in the Hunter Valley region of Australia, Home to some of the biggest coal mines in the World, and certainly the biggest and longest trains in the World, If you get stopped at a level crossing with one you'll be there a while, Their over a mile long, ???.

    Regards

    Joe.

Correct Joe although it was only a day out to the vineyards that are also in the Hunter Valley, we are actually staying with family in Sydney

If it do go back to November i would make plans to go but its right in the main busy periods on farm and with the weather we have been having farm is not in the condition it should be and with a minor health problem it would be difficult to get there at moment . Will miss you lads on the boat ,had a great time 2 years back with you lot , a big thanks to Robbo and Andy in helping out as well as David , Barry and Sean 👍

Its a shame you can't make it Smithy as we are going to see a collection that would be right up your street, it is over 50 International/McCormick and Farmall tractors, we had to come up with a different colour after going to the John Deere Museum last time.

  8. A bit of a question for the Massey men out there. This tractor has sat in the corner of a yard for over 10 years and is basically falling to bits where it stands. The paint has faded and more and more rust is appearing as well as the seagull droppings mounting up. I have heard that the 61** series was the worst ever offering from MF and very nearly sent them down but, what could be the matter with it?

Are you flying out or driving?

Yes driving but getting the ferry overnight from Harwich to the Hook of Holland like Sean says.

We also plan a visit to a collection on the Friday for anyone who wants to join us

Maybe a strange or unusual view, but this is a red John Deere bought from a circus...

    redJD.jpg

I worked for  recovery garage for a while and they had a JD 3350 in red, Peter Hardy made a conversion for me, I will see if I can find a photo as it is packed away at the moment

  11. Planning is underway for a few of us to go to this show, it is only around an hour from the ferry port at the Hook of Holland so easier to get to that when it was in Zwolle.

is anyone else from FTF planning on going?

Thanks Robbo , Barry has fuelled up the low loader and I believe might be delivering the 101 today and if theres room he's strapping  a fergy 65 on the back as well ,

Questions I wish I asked Dad before he passed away ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Did Murleys deliver the 101 or was it delivered straight to farm from Gloucester , I remember it not having a cab as he couldnt afford it straight away , spent many a hour sat on the mudguard whilst he was ploughing with a 5 furrow Ransome conventional plough , bet it was a big plough in those days , has anyone scratch built a 5 furrow ransome yet , or a 8 ton Pettit tandem axle trailer , 2 leg cooper subsoiler , 3.5 meter Lely Rotera , 15 row Massey 30 drill on narrow tyres , I suppose to be date accurate it would have to be a Massey 28 drill but I struggle to remember the 28 whereas I learnt to drill on the 65 and fergy 30

I think that Sean (tractorman810), may have done a scratch build of the Pettit trailer, he was tinkering with his new printer thingy some time ago, not sure about the others though. Have a look at his thread on Ash Tree Farm if you want to get some ideas
