The look on my managers face earlier pleased me
My boss was asking if the truck he'd ordered for me was going to do the job
I said no it wasn't we had discussed a few weeks ago what i wanted but he had gone for a basic fleet spec truck turns out my manager was trying to get brownie points and told boss we could get away with a cheaper fleet spec truck
My boss got us all together to sort out what to do \
I calmly said 'as you two don't drive a truck could you listen to someone who does then maybe we can agree on a vehicle which is suitable for the job it needs to do'
Needless to say the truck has been cancelled and another (ideal) truck ordered

Been round the tractor dealers at Louth today and bought up all the UH Ford 7810's from the New Holland dealer.
Stuff to convert for Spalding Mark?

I didn't think the double was on the cards initially anyway. What a drop though ... I'm going away to think of a new nickname for you now!
I think it will be white so you can call Tesco....'every little helps'
-
It may be cheaper but blimey, he could have met half way and got you a decent double drive (or rear tag) chassis spec'd for the job and a regular sleeper cab be it Volvo, Scania or even Merc! You'll have to pop into Scania when you get it . . .. just to see the salesmans face!
It was never to be a double drive and when asked I said a 6x2 tag with a manual box
Ideally I would have liked a Scania R480 tag which would have done everything my current truck does
When Merc was mentioned I had a chat with the salesman he went away to price a 6x2 tag 480bhp low roof manual
So where the 440 6x2 midlift auto came from i don't know

They arn't a bad motor in their own respect but basically, all your boss has done is bought a fleet motor for a specialist job.
What cab, gearbox and any other frilly bits might it have, Paul?
Not sure weather it's a flat-top or a high roof not a megaspace though automatic gearbox otherwise off the shelf

Finding out that one of my buckrake orders was for breaking down to cast......
Doesnt bother me who else makes them,...it does bother me when you find out that you're doing the donkey work for someone elses business.
Never mind,.......he will have to break up the one he already has......
Bit sneaky

No horror stories with the Ranger Mark just thought the Nissan was a better ride

All the managers at work have the Ford Ranger Wildtracks I have driven these and think my mates Nissan is better

hi Paul very nice work. Will you have different model no in the kits eg TM160 190 etc.
I will have TM120, TM140 and TM155 decals
Like paulali says the TM175/TM190 is a bigger tractor than the others and wouldn't suit the Replicagri model
-
-
is they any more info when the kits well be avaible
Conversion kits will be available in time for the Spalding show
Kit will include roof, front weights, mirrors and decals
-
Looks like the prototype 1455XL has the non standard mirrors like fitted to the real tractor in the picture :
UH are getting good at this looking at one tractor and modelling that weather correct or not

No Scania are far too expensive so it will still be a Merc... but i'm getting a construction spec (high clearance bumper, upright exhaust, rear windows) 480bhp 6x2 tag axle with twin wheels on the tag, it will have the same wheel base as my current 6x4 but with the added bonus of being able to lift the rear axle
