I've been finishing off a Siku John Deere 6630 standard conversion just got to hope it gets to Ireland in time to be on a layout at show next weekend
-
I'm sorry but I think the seller is talking a load of bull about this tractor as they look like the wheels off the U.H. Massey 3080 to me
I'm would love to know who bought this as I gave 4 of them to my daughter to sell at Toytrac on Sunday
I 'threw' them back together from parts left over from my Massey 3120 conversions and let Maisie sell them for £15 each
It amazes me how I can strip a Celtis down and then build it back up with 3080 wheels and axles with the packaging still sealed

Oh yes well have to get my hands on one of those
It used to be quite a popular combination in Germany to make the tractors footprint 3 metres wide when using a 3m combination drill
You see it in lots of MB and Fendt brocheres
-
That's each isn't it? this is for the pair of them.
Says at the bottom Mark you choose which model

The Siku Farmer plus John Deere is a 6920, the standard release was a 6920S and the loader version is a 6820

Paul they were £19.99 when they came out so I would value a mint boxed one anywhere from that up to £40 \

Im glad I bought 2 McCormick Hawkhire show models for £28 each at Spalding as it appears they are now worth 50% more on ebay and at a well known model supplier
My two now have front weights instead of linkages so I guess I will be asking for £50each when they finish their hire term on the carpet farm
what weights did you put on them??

Does anybody have the contact details for Walter the German stallholder who was down near Brian Norman in the botton corner of the big hall?

Looking at your lineup of 3000 series massey's it highlights what I do to the beacons, I wonder why UH put it ontop of such a long pole?
-
a joy to see your layout Pete, some fantastic models sat upon it as well.
Could I ask what wheels and tyres are on your 7530 pulling the grimme harvestor, looked a few pages back and can't find anything about it,it looks great
They look like ERTL JD 8400 wheels and tyres to me

Well i have been in my shed at the models ALL weekend 8am-9.30pm yesterday and 9am-whenever tonight.....work tomorrow for a rest

i think those kits will be very popular paul
The kits have the sprayer part in grey resin, the tank in white resin and the booms come from Siku in green, I stock various decals so loads of possibilities are possible

Unfortunately I couldn't make it over to the show this year but my stock of spare parts, kits and decals have been sent over and some members of the Moira Model Club will kindly be selling on my behalf
