I am selling at the show and my mate will be with me so I should get a good chance to look round, I made the mistake of doing the Penrith show on my own and saw more of the show on here and in the magazines!

As I sit here typing this I am looking at the exact same model with the 3 drums in the box on my living room table and what made me especially happy with it was its price of £14 inc Vat
The local Deere dealer had a batch come in and decided to knock them out cheap as a xmas goodwill offer to their many customers (good ole Ben Bs) and to think I nearly paid £22 for one in the standard Siku box before I spotted the promo
PS I got the last one.
Cheers for the tip off I bought a carton of them at Exning today

Well lots of models have been on my bench since I returned from Penrith all to be built for Christmas
This has been the most interesting A local farmer ordered a John Deere 6830 and Dowdswell plough to give to an employee of 30 years who retires this Christmas.
I started with a Wiking JD 6930,removed the starfire from the cab and the external hydraulic controls. I then fitted a PMA front linkage with a set of Imber Ford weights (like the real tractor) I modified the one peice cab doors and fitted new decals.

Well I'm just sat in a coffee shop in Keswick after a good 15mile walk up and around the lake districts 4th highest peak!!! First time I've found good wifi for the old iPhone!
Anyway thanks must go to Harold and his team for putting on an absolutely cracking show! I think that everyone who displayed/traded or visited would agree with me that the Lakeland show is the most friendly laidback show there is in the uk )
