  10. the glory of 1/87 scale is you can get everything in model rail sizes to fit I think it is covered in HO scale so there are kits galore if you look for them But you still have to do a good job on a kit to make it look as good as this layout It's very nice and well detailed and is a credit to it's owner

Your wish is my command MPS-115 for the smaller profile which is like tiles and mps-118 for slate roofing Does this help As for the ridges i use VBS-4 which is just over half round and looks ok as ridge tiles I've also used plastruct poly angle it saves having to bend sheet which weekens it along the score line as i found out in the past
