Borrowed the neighbours 2850 and headed into town to pick up some rolled barley, poultry pellets, and dog food. Met a Valtra T with a load of coal on't back which had taken a wrong turning, and ended up in the ditch when he tried to reverse back out of the junction. They ended up having to unload him onto three other tractors & trailers.
There were some absolute wassocks on the road. One clown in a Mondeo estate crossed over onto the opposite carriageway to overtake me through a 5ft wide, 18 inch high pile of snow, and then came back through the snow in front of me and nearly lost it when he over compensated.
First time driving an SG2. Interesting machine, but not a patch on a Series III.
Boss man had similar yesterday when he went to town on the 3600. Some clown in a Paasat passed him on a notorious hill on a back road doing 60km/hr (James F will know the hill well ).
All was in the supermarket were tractors and a small few 4x4's.

Was supposed to be in London tonight but flights were cancelled. Then to top it all of had to walk home as buses were taken off the roads.

I passed the New Holland dealer today and there was a shiny 20 series John Q parked in the trade-ins area.
Gavin might be onto something.
If that is the one between the two of us that is the first trade in in a long long time!

Oh yes because they were renowned for their easy starting characteristics!! \ \ (I have one so I should know) What you want is a major (I have one of those too ;D )
Or you should say your brother has ;D
You forgot the sticking in gear too!
And for once I'd agree with all you said ;D ;D

Thanks David for all the photos. Not any DB 1412 either - the one and only prototype for the DB 1690!

Sh1t loads, Colm. . .. or is that loads of sh1t?!! A lot of 3000 series Massey's this time around. A lot of the later stuff had not arrive yet but the older machinery section was lining up well.
I do apologise Mr C I want to pop in but I was on a straight run there and back so it is Swindon - Oxford - MK - Bedford - Huntingdon - Chatteris for me. If I take a load anywhere M25 orientated then I go past the door, time permitting. .... no sugar
Same as last month then Tris. Probably around 15 3000 series there in October.
Even I have visited his Lordship - no excuses here ;D
Passed through MK Monday evening.
-
Marky will be in love with you at this rate of going

TE20 wouldn't start, so I had to cart all the dung to the compost heap with a wheelbarrow.
Really must get a Dexta.
Thought you would have a Ford 7740 by now ;D

Great job there Blake

Looks a great collection there Bill and Joe - thanks for sharing!

Trip to Cheffins went like clockwork. Was up at the sale ground in Sutton, Cambs at 8am sharp but it did take three hours to get unloaded. Passed Captain Capon on the way up, just missed him on the way back though.
Much up there yet Tris?
-
Oops - I'd say there was a few choice words ;D

the man told me he stuck the forks in two the cab just so he could get the wheels off her.......now the cab is recked
That Hesston brings back fond memories of a contractor near me who had a fleet of 110-90's, Ursus 912 and Ford 7610 drawing from it 8)
