archtech
Last night while showing my 1/16 MF35x to my nephew it had a bit of a mishap, in that the plough lamp broke off. I was wondering, what is the best way to re-attach it (glue or otherwise) or should I leave well enough alone and just touch up the area where it was broke off. Have to be really tedious to get it back properly to be honest, I used apoxie and held the part on basically until the apoxie hardened. Did not come out great, but better than not having it on at all. Hope this helps, good luck!
allis8550
For a breakage like this, I find the best way is to drill a small hole in the part and its location , then rejoin with a piece of thin brass rod and superglue. the resulting repair is stronger than the original join.
