Pingu
Its terrible what is happening at the mo with the dairys the amount that are closing down and quiting farming or just going into crops is scary we may end up loosing all our agriculture in the end
MJB1
this is what p1sses me off ,there are 1000's of non productive acres & the government want neuclear powerstations ? why not pay the farmers to grow crops for bio fuel ? sorry gone off track \
Pingu
I totaly agree because aparently a 500kg bale of straw from a MF 190 or similar will last for 90 secs in a fire similar to a coal one which i dont think is bad the goverment are wasting land havent they thought wheat doesnt just have to be for the grain
MJB1
staw is an option but was thinking more along the lines of oil seed rape & have bio fuel powered stations.
Pingu
yup thats another option or even willow as all forage harvesters can be used to harvest willow as long as they have at least 400hp+ :D

MJB1
barbers farms & wyke farms are near Bruton / Evercreech, around the bath & west showground area, so you might of seen a few of their farms signs at the side of the road

Deere-est
No, I forget gis stepdads name. He took it on from my friends Dad and married his Mum when he passed away. As you come into Bruton from Wyke Farms place they are on the right just before the village. Got Case gear, only a little outfit, they do a bit of contracting.
