Nice pics!  So are they all most the same as the old fords?  I have never seen one in person but have seen a few pics.  It looks like it has seen some better days. 

Apparently based on the Ford 4000 and others of its era. I think they added 4wd and possibly upped the power. This site has some good info:

Looking at some photos of old Ford 4000s in the UK, they look totally different to the machines they would become, similar in form to the Britains 5000/6600.

super pics, where were they taken? dads worked in the forestry for 30 od years, he might know the guy  ;)

Forestry Commission plantation south of Machyntlleth.
