I was asked if I would show how I open the doors etc on models by someone lookin at my 718 thred, so here goes .
This is my way of doing this, I suspect others have better ways of doing it
After dismanteling the cab to the stage that you can get the glass out I simply use a sharp knife and score around the doo I want to open, take your time as one slip and you can be off accross the glass with the blade......and thats a bad thing. once you have scored a deep line you can carfully break the glass out.
Once this has been done you can trim it to size, then sand all the edges, finaly polishing at the end
I'm not going to use any of the other glazing on the model I am doing
