britains nh fx60 silage header

hi has any one on hear tried to shorten their header yet for the newholland fx60 or bought another one thats shorter for it. as i bought one on holiday for £14 and found the head to wide there for would prefer a more common length header that would be seen more over here in northern ireland

if so how did you go about doing this or which header did you buy

any help would be greatly appreciated

I've shortened the header on mine, not a perfect job but passable, Fred Mitchell does them with shortened headers too.

there is a topic on the claas header with the same issue. It has a step by step guide to shortening the header. I used it only last week but im sure it would be a guide in the right direction if you are considering narrowing it yourself and it was relatively easy
