Tinted windows

Is there anyway that I could achieve a decent tinted window effect on britains CASE and JD tractor models?  Has anyone ever tried with success? Or as I suspect is it an impossibility!

I did wonder whether using a green highlighter pen on the inside would work.

you can buy rolls of tinting sheets for car windows from halfords.

Go for a lightish smoke tint dont buy one too dark or silver

Yeah id go for the tinting sheets aswell because i was going to try it on some of my models and it seems the best idea!

tamyia used to do a clear paint for stuff like this, smoked grey/black , blue, orange ,red ect, not sure if they still do it mind as i cant get tamiya paint down here any more due to stockest/shop  changes, but have the red and orange stuff form before, goes on very easy ,on small stuff, larger ares may need some practice to see, but at 1.70 a bottle its worth a try if you can still get it

Take clear paint and 1, 2 ,3 , drops of black paint in it.

Bit late I know , But airbrush Tamiya smoke , will tint the windows, the more you put on the darker the tint.But you must airbrush, with these thin clear type paints you will get brush marks.....then a streeky tint \
