Need Help JD 8530

I plan to reduce the tracking width of the back tyres of the Ertl Precision JD 8530, but the problem is i can't seem to get the back wheels off. I've tried several techniques, i.e. grabbing both wheels and turning them in opposite directions while pulling, which generally works for UH and SIKU models, i have even resorted to light tapping with a hammer  :D . But still wont budge.

So does any one know how to remove the back wheels?

Also how do the front wheels remove? Just in case i decide to change them.

Well i pulled the rear wheels of mine easy enough. for the front wheels you take the front hub cap off and you will then find a screw, screw it off it thats it. Hope this helps.

Nice one will have a look at the front wheels, and try pulling then back ones a bit harder then.

Mark, did you ever get the back wheels off as i'm having the same problem trying to do the same as you!!

On that model i ended up bending the rear axle, i was applying that much force and still didn't get the wheels off. I could only put it down to they must have used glue. However on another model they came apart as easy as anything.

Right, another good tug (ooo-eer) with this one, if no joy, then go and get the other one out of the shed and see if that one pulls apart!
