neilw
Funnily enough I did try there, there was nothing relating to what I wanted...
Eurodeere
Why pull a topdown over ploughed land?
neilw
it says on the Vaderstadt website it can be used as a post plough type implement, logically, it has discs tines and a packer roller, all used to break down ploughing. I was interested to see what sort of finish it would leave, but the lack of footage of it on ploughing on you tube, having never seen a picture of it on ploughing, im starting to wonder if it is used as such, it is effectivly a "min till" implement..... AndyB
It is used in some circumstances for post plough work (I have seen it). The idea I have seen is to use it as soon after ploughing as poss or when it is dry enough in the Autumn. Can't show you a picture but, done well, it should leave about fist sized clods and a very open structure. Obviously you would use this on an over-wintered field, ready for Spring cropping. ALLEN XL
Have used one on ploughing & does a fair job, just make sure it's not wet ground & I done some ground where a lot of grass was ploughed in & was wet, which the Topdown brought to the surface !
