archbarch
they were never built for speed!!! Have you changed transmission oil & filters? Torque converter has probably seen its day?? where i worked years ago we did a seal in the torque convertor on the Sanderson forklift just because of an oil leak, it was so much quicker and more responsive afterwards. You could spend a fortune on a turbo only to have no effect.

archbarch
the Sanderson forklift i spoke of was the same, but at the same time you dont want to be fixing what aint broke??? Personally i would live with it and spend the money on something else. Years ago when i worked for a drainage contractor i drove a 3c 40 miles back to the yard, that was a very long afternoon believe me!!
